Majed Al-Thunayyan & Omar Allahim (KSA) # 501, Nissan Patrol, Stock category

🎙

💬We finished the final day of the Baja Aragón in second place. We’re very happy with the overall result in the Adstoc category, as well as with our position in the Baja World Championship. Majed gave it everything he had — he was absolutely brilliant today and yesterday. Unfortunately, the mechanical problems set us back quite a bit today. Yesterday, we had a problem that cost us around 25 minutes, which dropped us to second place. Hopefully, we can make up for it in the next rallies.
There are three rounds left in the World Championship. We have two rounds left to count, out of the six rounds that make up the championship, with the best two results counting. Hopefully, we can get strong results in those two rounds and win the World Championship.

💬Well done, Abu Abdullah, and thank you. You did a great job today.

💬Thank you. We didn’t really do much. Hopefully, the next one will be even better.

💬 Hello everyone. We’ve started the Spanish rally today after it was postponed a month ago. We’re ready for it. Today was just the prologue, and we took it very carefully because we weren’t fully prepared yet. Tomorrow, hopefully, we’ll push harder, together with Abdullah.

💬 Hello everyone, and welcome from the 2026 Baja Aragón. Today was a nice stage — the prologue was short, but tomorrow the actual rally begins. Tomorrow we’ll do our best and hopefully fight for first place.

Majed Al-Thunayyan (KSA), Omar AL-LAHIM (KSA) # 500, Nissan Patrol, Stock category

🎙
– Glad you made it back safely. Well done. At the end of the day, after 225 kilometers, we had that mechanical issue — it cost us quite a bit of time. But you fixed it — what exactly happened?
– It was the belt, and earlier the temperatures went a bit high.
– How many kilometers did you continue with it? From the power steering belt?
– Around 30 kilometers, in one of the toughest sections — the first 30, maybe 50 kilometers.
– Great job, seriously.
– Thanks, we finished the 225 kilometers today without major problems, apart from that issue. Tomorrow we’ll make up for it. Looks like we have about 190 kilometers left. Majed drove really well today — clean driving, no mistakes.
– Hopefully tomorrow we can recover the gap and go for first place.
– Thanks, good work today, you really gave it everything.

Majed Al Thunayyan from Saudi Arabia won the Baja Cup in the Stock category in 2024 and 2025, competing with his Nissan in the production class. In 2026, he took part in the Dakar Rally, where he finished an impressive 7th overall.
Shortly after Dakar, he returned to competition at the Hail Baja, part of the FIA World Cup for Cross-Country Bajas, and secured 1st place in the Stock category, taking the lead in the standings.

Majed Al Thunayyan:
“Dakar was a great experience. We finished in 7th place, and 10 days later we completed the Hail Baja in the FIA World Cup and took 1st place. We’re leading in the Stock category. We are ready for the next round in Jordan Rally and to continue the World Cup for the rest of the season in Europe.”

Omar Allahim:
The first round of the World Baja Cup was beautiful and enjoyable, set on challenging terrain where rocks mix with sand.
I have been participating in Rally Hail since its inception in 2005, and I have never seen stages as extremely rough as in the 2026 edition. Stage 1 and Stage 2 were equally demanding and tested both rider and machine. Now, we are looking forward to the next round in Jordan.
