It’s crazy how when you are kids you spend your childhood fighting like cats and dogs only to grow up and realize you had a built in best friend the whole time 🫶🏼

Y’all my sister is beautiful, and intelligent, and funny. She’s everything anyone could ask for in a best friend!

That 3rd Child

Young, Wild & Free
It’s the 3rd child that will have you spending Mother’s Day in the hospital. Getting the entire family up in a frenzy.

It’s the 3rd child who has no fear and thinks they are invincible.

It’s the 3rd child who is accident prone because they are often doing their own thing.

This evening was a doozy, BLOOD sooo much blood! They say head woulds bleed the worst but you never actually know what that means until you see first hand!!

We were loading the truck to leave my sisters house and as the truck door was swinging open for the dog, Sage took a face dive for the crush n run. Jason immediately grabbed her and said hospital. I ran inside and started yelling for rags to put compression on her head. My sister, drenched from just jumping in the pool to save her dog, jumped in to nurse mode and stayed calm while I couldn’t breath. She drove to the hospital while @jason.herron29 held Sage is the back. My mom and granny came and picked up the rest of us to meet at the ER. When I got there they said she was in trauma 1. (The horror of hearing the word trauma after seeing so much blood)
By the time I made it back they had it cleaned up and she has a tiny slit on her forehead that they were able to dermabond rather than use stitches.

We are headed home now, all of us covered in blood, Sages hair looks like it’s been died pink from the blood but she is okay. Her dad and I on the other hand need a chill pill.

Thank the sweet lord for my sister @allamericankat who is calm in every situation and knows just what to do to reassure me that things will be fine. And thank you Jesus for your protection, we are so appreciative because this could have been so much worse.

I owe my mom and granny a Mother’s Day re do and my sister and brother in law a drink!

I’m going home to clean us all up and snuggle my poor baby girl!
