Situated on the downtown St. Petersburg waterfront, the iconic stadium is home of the Tampa Bay Rowdies professional soccer team.

A lot has changed since St. Pete last hosted a World Series game in 2008.

@allangstadium was still the Rays’ spring training home that year, their last on the downtown waterfront before moving to Port Charlotte in 2009, where they train today.

As we all know, @tropicanafield has weathered its own dramatic changes with Hurricane Milton tearing apart its roof in October 2024, forcing the Rays to spend 2025 in Tampa before returning home in 2026.

Across the street, @fergsstpete stands steady as a game-day institution. It now serves as the “official gathering spot” for Rays fans. As the old menu shows though, prices looked a little different back in the day.

And yes, the Rays made the World Series in 2020 - but the entire series was played at a neutral site at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

It’s amazing to see everyone around St. Pete and across the whole country united, showing up, and showing out for the boys.
