GIVE THANKS

At the onset of this year, the unimaginable happened. My dad and hero graduated into Heaven.
During this season of mourning and when I admittedly found it challenging to be vulnerable with others, the song “GIVE THANKS” deeply ministered to me. The lyrics articulated so well the response and posture I desired to bring before the Lord.

Throughout the year, I have seen God’s hand at work, and many dreams come to fruition. His faithfulness has strengthened my revelation that everything we endure has purpose and the ability to be used by our Heavenly Father.

When Hannah invited me to be a part of this project, I couldn’t believe that we would be recording “GIVE THANKS” because the message of this song activated the elevation of my soul to respond in worship and gratitude. The night we recorded these new songs, I felt in my spirit like God was restoring peace to families and people in turmoil as we were singing them.

“GIVE THANKS” was such a weapon for me in a trying season of my life, and I’m so excited that the body of Christ now gets to join in authority and unity to proclaim, “GIVE THANKS.” Whether in your bedroom alone or with your church surrounded by community, this song will be a massive blessing!
