Midway through the build in delamere, and this garden is really starting to take shape

The Durlston wall cladding from @allgreengb brings texture and character, sitting alongside the clean lines of the porcelain patio. We’ve paired it with substantial 50mm sandstone wall copings and steps, with Schellevis steps adding another strong feature to the design.

Bringing different materials together is all about the detail — the levels, the junctions and how each finish flows into the next. There’s a lot of work behind making it all look effortless.

Still plenty to do, but you can already see the spaces forming and the design coming to life.

Follow along as we take this one through to completion

Winner of Arboriculture Company 2026!🏆

A huge congratulations to George Trott of G Trott Consultancy on winning the Arboriculture Company category at the Pro Landscaper Sustainability & Biodiversity Awards 2026, in association with Allgreen!

Hear from George as he talks about this fantastic achievement, recognising the importance of arboriculture, sustainability and biodiversity and the positive impact the judges feedback from last year had on his entry and his business in general🌿

Congratulations to George and the whole team on this well-deserved win!

Pocket office garden. This was a small space surrounded by walls on all sides and little possibility of mature planting in the ground so we decided to bring in mature shrubs and trees planted in large pots. The office chosen from @workaway is in a bespoke green colour to tie in with the greenery of the garden and contrast with the hard landscaping. Detail was of the essence in this garden as there wasn’t much room to play with! Last photo is before.

🏆 WE'RE SHORTLISTED! | NORTHERN DESIGN AWARDS 2026

We're absolutely delighted that Barnes Walker has been shortlisted in TWO categories at this year's Northern Design Awards!

✨ Outdoor Living Space
✨ Bespoke Design

Both nominations celebrate our stunning Cheshire garden project — a seamless fusion of architecture, interiors and landscape.
Designed and delivered alongside a beautiful contemporary home by Maison IOM, the gardens feature elegant stone terraces, bespoke water features, sophisticated lighting and richly layered planting, creating a series of exceptional outdoor living spaces.

At the heart of the garden is a truly unique bespoke entertainment pavilion, carefully designed around mature trees and expertly constructed by Bayley Homes. Combining exceptional craftsmanship with innovative engineering, bespoke stone, timber and aluminium detailing, a living green roof with bioclimatic louvred sections.

Every detail has been thoughtfully coordinated with the architecture and beautiful interiors by Keates Interiors, creating a natural connection between inside and outside.

A huge thank you to our wonderful clients and the talented team who helped bring this ambitious project to life.

🤞 Roll on the awards ceremony in November!

Back home after a busy and inspiring two days at @futurescapeevent! 🌿

Fantastic to catch up with industry colleagues, reconnect with familiar faces and listen to some brilliant talks from people across the landscaping industry.

A real personal highlight was having the opportunity to speak on two panels, sharing experiences, exchanging ideas and answering questions alongside some incredibly knowledgeable people in the industry.

There were some outstanding displays across the event, with a few particular standouts for me:

@landscapeplus_uk
@allgreengb
@walkeroutdoorliving
@core_lp
@globallandscapinguk
Paving site @northern_landscaper_gareth_
@aquascape_inc

Two days full of inspiration, fresh ideas and great conversations. Plenty to take away and bring back to Olive Tree Landscaping.

Already looking forward to the next one!

Futurescape 2026: speaking, judging & more.
This really should be a photo of Phil Tremayne and I, including Simon, Paul, Nathalie & Liberty. To you of The APL @apl_news & HTA @hta_news_ I am in awe of all you do for your members & that I could help.
To Team @futurescapeevent your smile, warmth and magnitude of traits mom would have instilled growing up, do not go unnoticed. Three weeks ago, this was a building site. 🌿

Now, Indian sandstone, oak and teak furniture bring warmth and character, while pleached trees and planting give the garden a softer, more secluded feel.

Somewhere to take your morning coffee outside, enjoy a long lunch and stay out a little longer on a warm evening. A space that feels as good as it looks.
