🚨BREAKING: Isabel Vaughan-Spruce has pleaded "not guilty" to fresh charges for standing and silently praying inside a "buffer zone".

The new charges were presented at an ongoing hearing, in which Isabel's legal team is arguing that her prosecution amounts to an "abuse of process" and breaches her human rights to freedom of thought and religion.

The judge has also commented that “standing is not a crime" and "Courts are not here to pass judgment on people's views.”

UK censorship and thought policing must end.

Each year, @alliancedefendingfreedom bestows the Alan E. Sears Leadership Award on someone who embodies the ideals of our founder: servant leadership, humility, character, dedication, and commitment to victory.

Past recipients include Alan himself, David and Barbara Green, Joni Eareckson Tada, Elsa Prince Broekhuizen, Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone, Os Guinness, and, last year, Attorney General Steve Marshall.

This year, it was my honor to present the 2026 Sears Award, posthumously, to Charlie Kirk.

Charlie spent his life changing hearts and minds. He took a folding table, a microphone, and a sign that said “Prove me wrong” on college campuses across the country.

He believed disagreement should be met with conversation, not silence. He knew the value of listening before speaking. And he believed a young person who hears the truth plainly and in love can be changed by it.

Charlie Kirk was taken from us far sooner than we imagined. But his legacy lives on—in his example to every young man and woman finding their way to the doors of church, in every student who dares to speak up, and in all who continue to contend for truth and freedom today.

ADF was pleased to present the award to @mrserikakirk on her late husband’s behalf. I pray God continues to sustain her and all who loved Charlie.

Yesterday, I had the privilege of arguing before an en banc panel of the 9th Circuit.

@alliancedefendingfreedom is representing Yakima Union Gospel Mission, a Christian homeless ministry in Washington state. We’re challenging the State’s unprecedented attempt to determine who is religiously qualified to serve at a church or ministry—coercion Justice Alito warned could “extinguish” religious groups “from participation in public life.”

Our job is to make sure that doesn’t happen. I value your prayers for this case.
