We run AOW classes every week🤙 Learn more on our website or visit the class calendar (link in bio) Is Advanced Open Water worth it? YES! What is the course like? Learning new skills through 5 adventure dives. There’s no traditional classroom portion—you’ll complete a shorter e-learning course and then spend your time actually diving. 🤿 A few things to know: • You must be at least 12 years old • You must have an Open Water certification (or qualifying equivalent) • You’ll complete 5 adventure dives with different specialties After becoming an Advanced diver: Some dives are more advanced than others If you’re a brand-new AOW diver, we recommend starting with dives in the 60–100 ft range to get comfortable with deeper diving before joining our deeper trips. 🌊Planning on starting your Open Water certification soon? Bundle your Open Water + Advanced Open Water courses and get $150 off. Open Water gets you certified to dive. Advanced Open Water helps you become a more capable, confident diver—and opens the door to even more dive sites around the world. Yes, you can start your Advanced Open Water course soon after completing Open Water. Depending on how comfortable and confident you feel during your Open Water course, you can complete them consecutively or space them out to get more dives in.

Meet the Paraiso Wreck. Would you follow us in?🤓 This 120-foot freighter was sunk in 1989 and now sits upright in about 75 feet of water, just a few miles offshore from Key Biscayne. ⚓️ Today, the wreck is teeming with marine life, with schools of tropical fish swimming both inside and around it. And if you’re lucky, you might even spot the resident Goliath grouper that calls the Paraiso home. 🐠 There have also been sightings of bull sharks, Caribbean reef sharks, and even hammerheads in the surrounding area. 🦈 Not a massive wreck, but definitely one worth exploring. This is one of our “shallower” advanced dives with a depth of 75ft. 📍 Miami, Florida ⚓️ Paraiso Wreck 🌊 75 ft deep 🐠 Teeming with marine life Our next available Paraiso dives this month are on: 🗓️10/02 🗓️10/11 🔗Book online now via the link in our bio or give us a call with any questions #MiamiDiving #ParaisoWreck #ScubaDiving #WreckDiving #SouthFloridaDiving

For our open water divers that want something a little different🪸We go to Miss Karline and Army Tanks only a few times a month, so don’t wait! Miss Karline is an 85 foot boat sunk in 1989. Coral growth has taken over the vessel in a once sandy area. Because of its close proximity to other wrecks, there is an abundance of fish and other sea life. The Army tanks are two 40-ton Vietnam era combat army tanks placed in 1994. They are part of what is known as the wreck trek. The Matthew Lawrence wreck sits close enough to the tanks that you could see both on the same dive. There’s a huge limestone boulder wall between the tanks that is a home to tons of little critters including fish, lobsters and eels🐟🌊🦞 Book online now or call the shop with any questions! 🔗website link in bio 📱305-361-3483 #misskarline #armytanks #miami #scubadiving

Epic Labor Day on the water! 🇺🇸🌊 Spending a day on the water always leaves you feeling a little lighter than before — and this one was extra special. Every Labor Day, we head out for a special 3-Tank Advanced Dive, visiting wrecks that are a little too far away to fit into our regular schedule. This year’s lineup included The Doc DeMille, Almirante, and Ultra Freeze — (Ultra Freeze is part of our regular offerings) These dives were definitely advanced and challenging, with significant depth and a moderate current. A huge thank you to all of the advanced divers who came out and absolutely killed it on board. It’s awesome to see confident divers who treat scuba as a sport and strive to become better divers. The dives that challenge us are the ones that stick with us. They’re the dives we think about and learn from — making us stronger, smarter, and safer divers. 🤿 From DPVs to spearfishing, the incredible chicken brought by Captain Ani, and the snacks shared by everyone, it was one of those days that left us all with a smile. 🐟🍗 This yearly 3-tank trip typically caps at 15 divers, so if you want to join us next year, be sure to book early! And if this trip sounds a little too advanced for where you are right now, that’s okay! Come join us for one of our Saturday Deep Dives or our regular Sunday 3-Tank Dives and keep building your experience. The best way to become a better diver? Put in the reps. Keep diving and keep learning until the things that once felt difficult start to click and feel easier. It takes time — and that’s part of the fun. See you underwater! 🌊 🔗 website and booking link in bio 📱305 361 3483 📧 info@diversparadise.miami #laborday #scubadiving #miami #wreckdiving #oceanadventures
