Your bridal shoes are the perfect opportunity to introduce a touch of playful personality to your wedding day wardrobe. While your gown sets the overall tone, we are loving the current trend of brides using their footwear to add a little unexpected whimsy (like a striking white bow detailing on the heel). The best part about this trend? You absolutely do not need a luxury designer label to make a memorable impact. The true secret to the perfect bridal shoe is finding a pair that beautifully elevates your look while remaining comfortable. Before the wedding, my bride Chrissy told me exactly what she wanted: “Just capture the fun.” So that became the plan. Less time on formal setups, more time in the middle of it all — the dance floor before dinner even started, the champagne pours, the hillside full of people they love. Every couple has a different answer when I ask what matters most to them. Chrissy wanted the party! My job is to hear that and build the day’s coverage around it. Kyle + Chrissy, you made it easy. 🤍 Planning + coordination: @weddingswithkim Photography: @libresphoto Second photographer: @jennymarkhamphoto Florist: @allietarolli Dessert: @ibakemistakes MUA: @meganmichellemua Catering: @buonaforchettacatering Lovers: @heyychrissaaay @kjkewley #sandiegoweddingphotographer #weddingphotographersandiego #socalweddingphotographer #filmweddingphotographer

Lake Como romance meets beautiful San Diego. 🤍 After saying “I do,” they boarded a private boat, popped a bottle of champagne, and stole a few quiet moments together before returning to the celebration. A reminder that luxury isn’t always about extravagance—sometimes it’s simply having a moment to soak in the fact that you’ve just married your best friend. 🥂✨ #SanDiegoStyleWeddings #JustMarried #LakeComoVibes #luxurywedding #sdsw 🤍⚓️🥂 • Planner + Design Finer Events & Co.@finerevents.co Media Partner + Co-Organizer San Diego Style Weddings Magazine — @sdstyleweddings Venue Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa @catamaranweddings Hair and Makeup Team Aly Rose Beauty — @alyrosebeautyteam Rentals Town and Country Event Rentals @townandcountry_eventrentals Florals Allie Tarolli Florals — @allietarolli Draping Installation + Staging 7 Elements & Co. — @7elementsd Photography Maria Davis Photo @mariadavisphoto Videography + Content Creation Next Chapter Films — @nextchaptermovies @nextchaptercontentcreation Bakery Flavorful SD — @flavorful_sd Candles Table Setters — @tablesetters_sd Stationery Papermade — @papermade.studio Escort Wall Signage Wood Coast Art — @woodcoastart Linens Creative Coverings — @creativecoverings Bridal Attire Blushing Bride — @blushingbridesocal Men’s Attire Friar Tux — @friartux Models @realkatiebozner @brodysmodeling

Last month in San Deigo, Chay had the honor of officiating one of the most intimate elopements, and I got to stand beside them as the only witness + photographer. Waves crashing below, the sunset glowing around them, and a whole lot of love.🤍🕊️🌊 #sunsetcliffselopement #californiaelopement #elopementphotographer #sandiegophotographer

We’ve been published in @sdstyleweddings 🤍🩵 At the waterfront of Catamaran Resort Hotel and Spa, this styled wedding shoot captures the spirit of a modern European seaside celebration through a distinctly Southern California lens. Inspired by Mediterranean coastal weddings, the design blends sculptural minimalism with soft, romantic movement. A palette of muted sea blue and soft ivory allows texture, form, and negative space to take center stage, while the ocean backdrop provides natural drama and scale. Floral arrangements echo the coastal hues, featuring airy blue delphinium, soft ivory garden roses, and delicate hydrangea layered with fresh greenery. The organic, slightly untamed compositions bring a sense of natural elegance to the tablescape, completing a look that feels refined, serene, and timeless. The ceremony design is intentionally clean and architectural, softened by flowing drapery and curved silhouettes that create an ethereal sense of movement. #sandiegoweddingphotographer #sandiegowedding #catamaranresort #missionbaywedding #sandiegobeachwedding

There’s something magical about the “getting ready” moments… the calm before the celebration, the laughter with your girls, the anticipation building with every brush stroke and curl. We had the best time bringing this vision to life with @alyrosebeautyteam and @hairby_jacquelineanne their talent, attention to detail, and effortless glam made this shoot feel like a real wedding morning. From soft, glowing skin to perfectly styled hair, every look was elevated yet timeless… exactly what every bride dreams of. It wasn’t just about beauty it’s also about the experience. The music playing, the smiles, the energy… those are the moments that make a wedding day unforgettable. ✨ Bridal tip: Choose a glam team that not only delivers incredible results but also creates a calm, fun atmosphere. #GettingReadyMoments #BridalBeauty #SanDiegoWeddings #WeddingInspiration #LuxuryBride

We had the absolute privilege of bringing a dream to life with a breathtaking styled shoot at the iconic Catamaran in San Diego—one of the rare beachfront venues where sailboats drift by, yachts glow in the evening light, and the bay creates the most romantic, coastal backdrop imaginable. This shoot was especially meaningful to me. Katie, our stunning model, was the very first face I worked with when we re-launched the magazine… so to have her here, part of this vision, felt incredibly full circle. 💫 The inspiration? A soft, elevated Lake Como meets San Diego aesthetic—effortless, coastal luxury with timeless elegance. And what made it even more powerful… every single vendor executed the vision perfectly. It came together even more beautifully than I imagined. Katie and Brody brought so much heart and fun to this shoot, both of you are truly special to me. 🫶🏻. To our entire creative team… thank you for pouring your talent into something so magical to help execute my vision. Vanessa you are a rock star. I cannot wait for you to see this feature inside the magazine and experience it on our website. It’s one of those moments that truly captures what we love most—storytelling through beauty, collaboration, and vision. ✨ #sdsw #sdstyleweddings #sandiegoweddings #destinationweddings #beachwedding
