T H E T A W I L S

One day the house gets quieter.

The backpacks, the noise, the laughter, the laundry… it all disappears, replaced by the full refrigerator, the available bathrooms, the quiet, the texts and the phone calls telling you the compliments they got from a prof or the test they just passed or the work success they achieved.

The calendar opens up.

And suddenly, the people who once filled every corner of your life are standing taller, older, more themselves.

That’s the thing about time with your people, it doesn’t wait.

The Tawils (Sandy who I have known for ever and her entire sweet family) came to me through a silent auction at the Boys & Girls Club gala.

What started as a generous bid turned into something bigger: proof of right now. Of who they are in this beautifully messy in-between season- kids spreading their wings, parents adjusting, everyone still figuring it out together, but in different places.

These aren’t just photos for your wall.

They’re the feeling of having everyone home at the same time.

Of still belonging to each other, even as life starts pulling in different directions.

A little different. A lot of heart. And yeah, the green looks damn good on all of them.

This is what legacy actually looks like.

Creating wall art for your home with you as the subject is my jam. Creating wall art for your home with you and your kids should be yours too.

Thank you Sandy and Ike, Aaron, Andrew, and Allie for a great time!!!!! I can’t wait to see your beautiful photos on your walls in your home!
