#stitch with @allischatzley_ thank you for reminding me to connect with my WHY. This is the part of the human experience AI will never be able to take from us. Actual. Lived. Experience. The trauma, the dreams, the hope that sometimes feels like an unending burden that we don’t dare set down even for a moment. Thank you for your video 🖤🥲 #debutnovel #author #traumantasy #writing

Hammocks Need Trees 🌲

I would like to introduce to you a company I have found that centers itself around conservation and humanitarian outreach. Two things I am very passionate about.

#hammocksneedtrees That’s Madera Outdoor’s motto because it translates beautifully to their mission. Since 1989, Madera has teamed up with @treesforthefuture and will plant two trees from every purchase of a hammock. 🏕 Why two, isn’t one enough? Well, you can’t hang your hammock with only one tree 🌲

With the planting of 10,255 trees worldwide (and counting) this has had a transformative power on impoverished land in both East & West Africa where Madera’s goal is to create sustainable practices and productive land for future generations. This also provides sustainable sources of food, livestock, fuel and forest products for the people to consume and sell in nearby markets, funneling into their long-term goal of providing sustainable jobs to give the people dignity and opportunities fundraising and charity alone can’t.

This is an amazing company with goals to help the world. If you’d like to help by purchasing a hammock click the link in my bio and use my code (allischatzley) at checkout to receive a discount of 20% off your order to start your journey of planting trees. 🌲🏕🌲
