A thank you letter to cross country 💌 Even though I only did this sport for 2 years, they have made some of the best times, spent with some of the best teammates and people you’ll meet. I have grown from hating running to actually looking forward to practice and improving myself, physically and mentally. Running is honestly not the most fun sport, but being a part of a team like this makes it so incredibly worth it, and if you ever get the chance, please please join it. Spending my summer mornings doing hill repeats was not something I thought I would ever do, but it’s helped me through so much more than running and created an outlet that I’m so thankful to have. All of my teammates and coaches have made this team so worth it, and I don’t think I could ask for better people to run with. Shoutout Abby for somehow convincing me to do this sport as a junior, I’ve grown so grateful for the opportunity I never thought I’d take :) 🏃‍♀️❤️❤️
