when you are looking for a partner in this thing that we call life make sure that you are able to call them your bestfriend because that is what allison is to me. she lifts my spirit just being around her. i’ve never met a person in this entire world with as beautiful of a soul that allison has. it’s so evident in her life, her friends, her family, and the interactions she has with others. she brings the light to every room that she steps in. i never thought i would ever be able to experience such a selfless love until i met her. love is sacrifice and she does just that. she sacrifices her judgment, her feelings, her everything to make sure that i’m/we’re okay. i’ve never felt something so reciprocated, it’s truly the most beautiful thing i have ever experienced in this world. you make me a man allison. you give me so much purpose and so much peace in a world that is so chaotic. i could never ever thank you enough. nothing can ever come between us.

Dear Delaware County Fair 2026,
When I walked into the Delaware County Fair Pageant, I did not think that anything was going to come out of it. I did it for fun and I was OK if I lost the competition but little did I know about an hour from walking on the stage for the first time I would be being crowned Miss Delaware County 1st Runner-Up 2026. these last two weeks have been so amazing and I could not have asked to have a better time with better people.

Our first week started out with 4H week. It was so cool to watch all of the kids come together for showmanship and be able to show all the work that they had put into their animals for the past year. I was so blessed to be able to have a small piece of these kids lives by being able to hand out ribbons and awards. These moments were bittersweet for me because when I was younger, I always looked up to the girls that were in the crowns and the pretty sashes,but little did little Jamie know one day she would be one of those girls in the crowns and sashes.

The second week of fair was Midway. It was so fun being able to spend time with my girls, bonding, and building a sisterhood together. From playing little games, riding as many rides as we wanted, eating as much food as we could, and drinking as many lemon shake ups as we could, there was never a dull moment with these girls. Walking around handing out crowns to little girls was so amazing, and a special moment I’m so thankful to be a part of. Being a part of Delaware County Fairs Queen Court has been one of the biggest blessings of my life. I’m so thankful that Mark let me sing The National Anthem at the grandstands every single night. It was amazing to be able to stand in front of so many people and sing a song that is so important to our nation, in front of friends, family, and most importantly people that have served our country and have fought for our flag. I’m so excited to see where this year takes us. From doing public appearances, to parades, and even being on radio shows. We need to buckle up because this is gonna be the ride of our life, and I won’t blink because I don’t wanna miss a second of this.

HOLY FREAKING CRAP.
my last pageant that I did, I hated, with a burning passion. I never wanted to do another one ever again. But then I decided yolo, let’s do another one, but this time in my hometown. And holy Toledo. I’m so grateful for each one of these girls, thank you Mara Porter for being such a good role model with what a queen should be, and Jordy Douglas ,Makayla Orcutt and Molly for what the queens court should be. We have some big shoes to fill.

I am happy to announce that I am your Miss Delaware County Fair Queen 1st runner up 2026!

I’m so excited for this next year that I get to spend with these three girls. Every single one of them are so sweet and have been so kind to me the whole time with this only being my second pageant. I was not expecting to get anywhere close to first runner-up, but this pageant, I was OK with not placing because I had such a good time with everyone that was a part of this pageant.

I wanna thank Mark De Fabio and he pushed me really really hard and without Mark I don’t think that I would’ve honestly won a title. and let me just say for only showing up for the last two rehearsals. I think that went pretty darn good. Thank you too my dad, my papaw, aunt Lacee, Hannah, Ryder, Liv, Evan, and Jacob for all showing up for me, you have no idea how much that means to me. HUGE THANK YOU TO Eaton Volunteer Fire Department, most people know that they’re my fire family, but they were actually my sponsor for this pageant. without them, This would not have happened. So thanks you guys.

I’m very excited for this year and I can’t wait to see what the 2026 Delaware County fair brings for me.

People often ask me for a fun fact about myself, and even years from now, my answer will still be the same. I will proudly tell them about the incredible accomplishments I achieved through the Miss Delaware County organization and the privilege of serving this community. Because these experiences are not just memories—they are a part of who I am.

Having the honor of serving as Miss Congeniality 2024 and being named Miss Delaware County First Runner-Up 2025 are accomplishments that I will forever hold close to my heart. While the titles themselves are temporary, the memories, friendships, and lessons they have given me will last a lifetime.

My year as Miss Congeniality will forever be one of the most special chapters of my life. To be chosen by the incredible woman standing beside me, and to be recognized for kindness, compassion, and uplifting others, meant more to me than I could ever put into words. That year taught me love, inside and out. That title reminded me that being a queen isn’t just about wearing a crown—it’s about leading with love, encouraging others, and leaving people better than you found them. And having the chance to be constantly reminded of my impact on others by the girls and people around me has been more than a honor.

Through this organization, I have been blessed with amazing opportunities, unforgettable experiences, and a community that has supported me every step of the way. I have laughed, , I have cry ,I have learned, I have grown, and I have discovered a confidence within myself that I never knew existed. This organization taught me that I am capable of more than I ever imagined and that there is so much power in believing in yourself and lifting others up along the way.

Delaware as much as it breaks my heart, because it has been nothing but a dream serving and being such a role model to the young girls in this community , signing off for the last time as Miss Delaware County’s 1st runner up Jordy Douglas.
