Girlll, I was so worried I wouldn’t find “the dress” since I waited 5 months until my wedding 😭 and I ended up leaving with both my ceremony and reception dresses 🤍

I really said if I’m having a “say yes to the dress” moment, it has to be in NYC…and then finding my reception dress the LAST day?? like be so serious.

Literally none of it would be possible without my village: @kp.stylez_ @jiggyjaee @kimberlynwells_ @allisonbydesign @mcconnuigheybailbonds 🫶🏾✨

this whole trip felt like a movie and I’m still not over it, ahhh I’m getting married🙊💍

✨ Gratitude Overflows My Heart! ✨

To my beloved cousin Armantha, all the way from Alabama — the land where my late mother and father called home, and where so many of my sweetest childhood memories were made — thank you from the depths of my soul for supporting The Queen I See in Me! There is something so special about love that travels all the way back to your roots. ❤️

And to my childhood friend, my sister, my advisor — Allison Atwell — words cannot fully express what your support means to me. Not only did you purchase FIVE books, but your thoughtful words about The Queen I See in Me touched me in ways you may never fully know. You have always been in my corner, and I am so grateful for you! 💕

I will be honest — it brings tears to my eyes knowing the impact this little book has already had, and the impact it will have on our precious children. Every purchase, every kind word, every share reminds me of why I wrote it — so that every little girl can look in the mirror and see the queen she truly is. ✨

I am overwhelmed with love and gratitude for the outpouring of support I am receiving on this journey. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU! This is so much bigger than me. 🙏🏽

If you haven't grabbed your copy yet, it's available now on Amazon! ✨

✨ A heart full of gratitude today! ✨

I have to take a moment to shout out one of my closest and dearest friends — Allison Atwell! 💛

Allison, you have purchased *The Queen I See in Me* FIVE times, and I am beyond moved by your love and support. Five times! That's not just support — that's a declaration of belief in this work, in this mission, and in me. 🙏🏾

Your creative spirit has always been a light on my journey, and knowing that you champion this book the way you do means more than words can truly express. You are the definition of a Queen who lifts other Queens.

Thank you for being my friend, my cheerleader, and my inspiration. I am forever grateful. 💜

#sundayfunday I woke up feeling it was going to be a beautiful day and it was. I attended service @mtolive_huntersville for their Family and Friends day. I walked away with “so” still in my heart!!! #iykyk

I spent the afternoon @foxcroftfoodandwine Birkdale and the conversations with neighbors was beautiful. We had candid conversations on the size of CMS, focusing on students and education, the implications of splitting the vote, and a reminder that we are all human with feelings.

What questions would you have asked me if you were there?

Thank you, @jackandjillqueencity , for choosing Grow Cafe to host your pre-teen grade group’s Paint & Sip! It was an honor to welcome our future leaders, along with some of our local political representatives who shared insights on the importance of the 2024 election.

The kids enjoyed painting and sipping on our signature hot chocolate, making it a memorable event for all!

What a great opportunity last night for The Mobile Wine Experience (TMWE). I was selected to host a wine tasting for the Black Renaissance Conference at the National Harbor for participants and sponsors of the Executive Leadership Council Honors Symposium.

Featured Wines: Sun Goddess Prosecco by Mary J. Blige, Michael Lavelle Iris Chenin Blanc, Legend Vinyard Exclusive French Rosé by John Legend (Boisette Wine Collection) and Flo Cabernet Sauvignon by Marcus Johnson.

Shout outs to my team for helping me make it happen: Darrell, Pilla, Devin, Lolita, and Heather. I love you, and I truly appreciate you.
