THERE ARE STILL NOT ENOUGH WORDS FOR THIS RETREAT! 😭😭

It's one thing to have couples you work alongside of you to see and appreciate your work, but it's so special to have other colleagues and professionals to see you and value you in this industry too. To be chosen for this retreat has shaped me as a business owner. Stephanie and @happyvalleyfarmsga, thank you for honoring and celebrating us and giving us the greatest interactive, immersed experience of your venue. What a beautiful and life changing experience!

We started the first day with meet and greats, food and drinks galore, a painting class, bouquet making class, progressive farm to table dinner, and late night swimming. On our second day we had brunch and met with some amazing businesses in the wedding industry, a tour of Chattanooga, a tour of @chattlookouts stadium, a tour of @theedwinhotel and family style dinner. I was welcomed with the greatest goodie bag and was given two nights at @theedwinhotel. It was so wonderful!

More than anything, this retreat introduced me to some of the most amazing women in the wedding industry. Real life women who are wives, mothers, and entrepreneurs that are building their businesses with integrity and honor. I gleaned and learned so much from each of them and were amazed at how succesful they all are.

I am so thankful for this beautiful experience and all I've learned! I'm working on more recaps so stay tuned. 🫶🏻

When I received my invitation to the @happyvalleyfarmsga Wedding Planner Retreat, my first reaction wasn’t excitement, I was in true disbelief. In fact, I emailed @stephanieannevalencia and asked if she meant to send it to me. 🙈😂

I was nervous. I questioned whether I belonged in a room with so many women I’ve admired for years. Women whose work I respect, whose businesses I’ve looked up to, and whose influence has helped shape this industry.

To even be invited to sit at the same table with them has been one of the greatest honors of my career.

Seven years ago, Taylor Made Weddings & Events began simply because I was doing a favor for a friend. I never could have imagined that one “yes” would lead me here. Through weddings and events, God has brought the most incredible people into my life, and this retreat has been another reminder that His plans are always bigger than the ones we write for ourselves.

This retreat has been filled with genuine connection, encouragement, laughter, and so much gratitude. I can’t wait to share more from this experience because it has truly been unforgettable.

Thank you, Stephanie, and the entire Happy Valley Farms team, and my fellow wedding planners for creating such a beautiful space where community is celebrated over competition. I am leaving inspired, refreshed, and incredibly thankful. 🤍

Three years ago, I took a leap of faith and started Gathered.

I had just had Beckham and was craving a creative outlet that also let me love and serve people well. I remember telling Abby, “If I book three weddings this year, I’ll be so happy.”

Instead, the Lord gave me 20 the first year.

Looking back, it’s so clear that His hand has been over every step of this journey. Through every move, every wedding, every season of motherhood, every lesson, and every answered prayer, He’s been so faithful.

Owning a business isn’t always easy, but getting to celebrate alongside couples on one of the happiest days of their lives is something I’ll never stop being thankful for. The friendships, the memories, the incredible vendor community, and the team that’s come alongside me have been gifts I never could’ve imagined.

Thank you to every couple who’s trusted our team with your wedding day and to everyone who’s supported Gathered over the last three years. I truly don’t take it for granted.

I’m excited for what’s ahead. I have a feeling the best is still to come. 🤍✨

Three years of Gathered. 🤍

It’s hard to put into words just how grateful I am.

Three years ago, I had just become a mom and was looking for a creative outlet that allowed me to serve people well. I remember telling my sister that if I could plan three weddings in my first year, I’d be thrilled.

The Lord had different plans. He blessed us with 20 weddings that first year.

Since then, we’ve had the privilege of serving so many incredible couples, working alongside the most talented vendors, and building a team that cares deeply about creating meaningful and intentional wedding days.

To every couple who has trusted Gathered with one of the biggest days of your lives, thank you. It is a responsibility we never take lightly and we are so honored.

I can’t wait to see what the next couple of years hold. Cheers to three years🥂
