All eyes are on rising junior Allison “Alli” Ivey, the left handed middle out of Hillcrest HS.

Entering her pivotal junior year, the Class of 2028 standout is primed to anchor the net. She brings a unique competitive edge to the floor as a rare, highly dynamic left-handed middle blocker.

Alli’s blueprint for the upcoming season focuses on two metrics: maximizing total blocks and exploding her kill count. Alli relies on a lightning-fast vertical jump. Her lateral quickness allows her to close blocks pin-to-pin, effectively shutting down opposing hitters.

Offensively, her left-handed attack from the middle and right-side positions creates unnatural, difficult angles for opposing defenders. Her heavy swing is expected to be a primary point-producer for Hillcrest this fall.

After navigating developmental growth and grinding on the club circuit with Stars Carolinas, Alli is stepping directly into a primary leadership role at the net. College scouts monitoring the Class of 2028 track sheet will want to keep a close eye on her. Expect Alli to provide the defensive grit and offensive firepower required to push Hillcrest deep into the postseason. @allisoniveyvb
