I watch these videos often, they hold powerful moments I will never forget.💯I think about it all the time, looking at pictures and stuff... 😂The first video is me coming out the game up by 14 with a little bit on the clock. Jay was emotional, because this was such a big moment. I leaned over and said some lyrics that have been what we sang otw there and after we won the first game. Towards the end of the video coach Ham leans over and says the same thing...🙏🏼🏀 The second video is the end of the game, and Nina had poured her heart into that game. Especially after Melissa got hurt, she gave the game everything she had. Freeda did too, she was emotional because we worked so hard‼️ All of those miles we ran before practices, and tough losses we took towards the beginning of the season. We were so proud of each other, and the way we played together. 💪🏼Listen to the announcer...”congratulations Elba you’re going to the final four” #historymaking #family🤞🏻 #reminiscing

WOW, This has really been a journey. This team has demonstrated what Hard Work and Faith will get you. It’s always hard when a season ends in any sport, but this was different. We were never “supposed” be the first team to be undefeated at home, or to host area, or win area, or make it to Montgomery. We definitely weren’t “supposed” to win in Montgomery not once but twice, and definitely not “supposed” to go to Birmingham. Loachapoka was up by 4 with like 3 min left in the third in our first game in Montgomery, we won by 6. Westminster shot double the amount of shots we did in the second game in Montgomery, we won that game by 9. This Elba team also has 23 wins, that is the most wins any team at Elba has ever had. This season ended not how we expected for sure, but it has thought us many lessons. We learned mental toughness, each other’s tendencies, and where our strength comes from. The Lord has definitely blessed this team in some ways we can’t explain, you would just have to have experienced it yourself. I am definitely blessed to be part of this History Making team!! This isn’t just a team though. We are family, and that shows in the hall, when we see each other in town, and definitely on the court. I will miss this specific group of girls as my teammates. This ain’t over yet, it’s just the end of the season‼️ #unfinishedbusiness #history #family🤞🏻
