I will always brag about this team - because 5 years ago I was dreaming of being in the spot that I am in now. 5 years ago when I started coaching full time… I was bad. •Inconsistent with the looks I brought on stage. •Second guessing the adjustments I would make on show day. •Prioritizing the number of athletes on stage rather than the quality of athlete on stage. It took a lot of dead ends and rerouting to get this team to where it is now. I have learned. I have become picky with my athletes. I have raised the standards and expectations. But my roster is elite. They all bust their ass. They adhere. They don’t listen to outside noise / advice. They buy in. When you have a group of 100 people looking to you to lead, and they trust that you will get them to the highest level - how can you not be passionate about what you do? I say it all the time, but it is a privilege to do this. The long hours, the travel, the rough times - all of it pays off when you see an athlete land that top spot. 2nd half of this season is off to a great start! @allldaay & @eg_fit11 killed it at the Muscle Beach Classic yesterday. Erik took home the win as the Class C Champ yesterday. Although we fell short in the overall, this is a huge step up from our first show in April. Gerardo brought a great shape for our first show together. We will definitely make some noise once we fill out his frame a bit. Finally a big shoutout to Jesse from @triggerpointstudioss. He isn’t mine, but getting to help with posing & see his transformation still makes me insanely proud. Great job to him & @aesthetic__effect
