Feeling the love after the PRSA ICON event! So grateful for the amazing turnout and support. We had a blast connecting with everyone and showing how Daily Buzz can simplify your workflow. Shoutout to all the @prssanational students we met - we loved sharing tips on breaking into the publicity field. #PRSAICON #DailyBuzz #InMyPublicityEra #PRSSA #MediaMax

No, this isn’t yet another standing room only event for @csufprssa - it is actually a standing room only open board meeting!

Thirteen of the students are current members of our executive board and @titanpublicrelations executive directors. The other 28 are just some of the students who are planning to run for next year’s executive board! 😳

The unprecedented interest in joining our board to run this chapter next year is a direct reflection of the excellent leadership and performance of this year’s board! This board has been focused on delivering impactful programming for PRSSA members at CSUF, regional chapters participating in the SoCal Coalition, and nationally through @prssanational 🤩 Under the guidance of this board, our chapter has grown by over 55% in the last two months to a membership of 180 students!

I am so proud of this incredible board and I will continue to shine a spotlight on the amazing work that you’re doing that is benefiting so many!

And even more incredible news yet to be announced by this board! (I can’t wait for this next one!) 🤫

This evening was the Spring Kickoff event for @csufprssa 😍

Thanks to the hard work of the executive board during the fall semester, we saw the largest turnout for a chapter event in the seven years that I’ve been the faculty adviser! 🤩 I was blown away by our SRO fall kickoff event that was attended by about 80 students. Tonight, we had nearly 125 in attendance - so many that the staff had to bring out more chairs! 🙌

I don’t know how I got so lucky to be able to serve as the faculty adviser for what I feel is one of PRSSA’s top chapters, but I definitely feel blessed! 😍

Congratulations to this extraordinarily creative, energetic, hard-working board! Your dedication to creating the robust schedule of valuable programming is demonstrating the value of membership, driving new members, and most importantly giving our members the tools, connections, and insights to ease their transition into their chosen professions!

And a very special shout out to CSUF alums and former CSUF PRSSA board members Jessica Pineda, @ava.kendrena and @priyanka.jain9 for coming back and sharing your insights into the impact that PRSSA has had on your career successes!

This morning, 28 @csufprssa members flew up to San Francisco for a day of professional tours and bonding! 🤩

Thank you to @sssammyyyy - former CSUF PRSSA executive board member and current account supervisor at @finnpartners - for setting up a great day of meetings for the students! I owe you big time! 👏👏

The group also had the opportunity to relax a bit, do some sightseeing, and catch up with a couple other #PRSSA friends in the area! 😍

I’m so thankful to @southwestair for the generous donation that allowed us to give these future PR professionals this incredible day of educational meetings and experiences in the Bay Area! Southwest has been a huge supporter of our program over the years! 🙌👏

Day 2 of @prssanational Leadership Assembly was amazing!

So proud to see @allyyguerra from @csufprssa and @mdmilobar from @prssalb elected to the PRSSA International Committee! Ally was elected VP of Digital Communications and Morgan was elected VP of Member Services! Also thrilled to see @teolandoni returning to the Committee as VP of Chapter Development! 🙌

So proud to see our So Cal chapters represented and serving at the National level! 😍

I also enjoyed spending time with PRSA colleagues @katieethomas10 @gemmarita22 and @adcook22 🤩

The incredible PRSSA National Committee signed my final National Faculty Adviser tent card. It has been an honor and pleasure to serve the past three years. Time for a fresh perspective for this incredible incoming committee! ☺️

And that’s a wrap for my last in-person event as @prssanational National Faculty Adviser! Definitely bittersweet… 😢

Thank you @milagros.orcoyen for closing out the Assembly with that touching recognition. And BTW, those were not tears … the lighting was messing with my eyes! 🥲 It has been an honor to get to serve with you all three years on the National Committee and to see you grow and flourish in your leadership skills! What an amazing year you led us through this year! 👏👏🙌

I’m going to miss seeing these amazing people in person a couple of times each year, but thankfully I know I will get to see you all on the “professional side” at PRSA events where I can proudly say that I knew you when we were on National Committee together! 😊

But for now, we’ve still got lots to do over the next few months of the term of this year’s committee.

And, of course, a shout out to @emilyyvzquez your service on this year’s committee and your years of leadership in @csufprssa 👏👏 And congrats again to @allyyguerra of @csufprssa and @mdmilobar of @prssalb for stepping up to carry on the good work of PRSSA for our members through your election to the 2025-2026 International Committee!

This has been the role of a lifetime but it’s onward and upwards for all of us! 🤩 Now it’s time to head home and get back at it. 😔
