Happy Sunday Evening Beautiful People💚

As Mental Health Awareness Month comes to a close, I’ve been reflecting on how important it is to keep these conversations going. Mental health affects all of us in one way or another, and the more we talk about it, the more we help create understanding, connection, and healing.

This reflection feels especially meaningful as I think of Patrick, who is missed daily. His memory is a reminder of how important it is to check in on one another, have difficult conversations, and let the people in our lives know they are not alone.

As we move into Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, I want to encourage all of us to be intentional about checking in on the men in our lives. Too often, men feel pressured to carry their struggles in silence. A simple conversation, a listening ear, or a genuine “How are you doing?” can make a bigger difference than we realize.

Let’s continue creating spaces where people feel comfortable being honest about what they’re going through and know they don’t have to face it alone. Mental health is not just a conversation for one month it’s something we should care about every day.

As Galatians 6:2 reminds us, “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” We were never meant to walk through life’s challenges alone. By showing compassion, offering support, and being present for one another, we can help lighten the load for those who may be struggling in silence.

Take care of yourselves, and don’t forget to check on the people you love.

As Always please keep The Lloyd Family lifted in prayer🙏🏾

Happy Monday Beautiful People💚

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, I want to continue honoring the life and legacy of Patrick O. Lloyd. 💚

As many of you know, we lost Patrick to suicide on June 3, 2024. His loss has left a lasting impact on so many people who knew and loved him, and it’s a reminder of how important mental health awareness, compassion, and support truly are.

For Mental Health Awareness Week, I invite everyone to wear green on May 14, 2026, to help spread awareness, encourage conversation, and remind others that they are never alone.

If you have a favorite photo, video, memory, or story about Patrick, please send it to me by May 14 so I can share and honor his memory. Please keep videos around 2 minutes or less. 💚

I appreciate each of you and thank you for helping me continue his legacy.

Let’s continue Patrick’s legacy through kindness, support, and checking in on one another not just this week, but every day.

What's Good, Beautiful People💛

In February 2024, God put me on assignment—to be the vessel my ex-husband needed. Although we divorced in 2022, through prayer, therapy, and forgiveness, we were finally able to give each other what we had been missing, simple friendship. Somewhere along the way, while chasing the life we thought we deserved, helping family and helping friends, we lost the friendship at the core of us. But in 2023, we found it again.

That same February, Patrick was involved in a terrible 18-wheeler accident that forever changed our lives. Not being able to work or do what he loved left him feeling like a piece of himself was gone. We often talked about pivoting in life, but fear and the unknown can keep you stagnant—and in that stillness, the enemy played on his mental health.

In June 2024, we lost a huge piece of our hearts the day Patrick chose he no longer wanted to live. 💔

Why I share this. Shortly after Patrick’s passing, in a conversation with my mother-in-love, she said: “God has been good to us. He gave us Patrick for 43 years.” That stayed with me. I now understand why Patrick would always say, “Another day above ground is a great day.”

Losing a loved one to suicide is the hardest journey I’ve ever walked. For all of us—family, friends, and loved ones—this loss was a blow: unpredictable, devastating, and life-changing.

But even in grief, I find peace. I feel his presence, and his unconditional love still warms my heart. So I remind myself and others:
✨ Show grace—even when the pain feels unbearable.
✨ Show compassion—even when you don’t understand.
✨ But most importantly, show LOVE.

My pain and sorrow now turn to joy and peace because I know my “P. Ditty Pop” is finally resting, smiling down, saying, “Bonnie still riding for me.”

Suicide has no ethnicity, no age, no financial status. Create safe spaces for people to be vulnerable, to release, to be seen and heard. PRAYER has definitely gotten us through.

Yesterday would not have been possible without all of you. Every day remains an emotional rollercoaster, but I’m grateful I can lean on God, my family, and my friends.

Patrick’s life isn’t over. This is just the beginning🫶🏾

IG, please help me Wish my beautiful sister from another mister the happiest 45th birthday! 💖 From the very first day we met January 2019, our bond has been unbreakable. For the past 6 years, you’ve been by my side through every high and every low, always just a call or text away.

I can’t express enough how much your love, support, and friendship has meant to me. You’re not just my friend. You are truly my SISTER-FRIEND, a blessing in my life that I thank God for every day.

I love you deeply, and I can’t wait to celebrate this special milestone with you soon. 💋✨
