Around the Crown… what can I say?! 🥹👑🏅

FIRST 10K IN THE BOOKS! And I can confidently say this is the first of MANY. 🏃🏾‍♀️✨

First and foremost, I have to thank God for giving me the strength, endurance, and ability to make it all the way to the finish line. 🙏🏾 There were definitely some conversations happening between me and the Lord out there — because baby, Queen’s Climb had me PRAYING! 😂😭 But we made it!

A huge thank you to the founders of LGA @letsgetactivecolasc for trusting me to serve as the liaison for Around the Crown. Being able to help bring this experience together for our crew while also preparing for my own first 10K made this weekend even more special.

Thank you to every pacer who stepped up, my right hand Ricco, every participant, and every single person who encouraged me throughout this journey. This experience would not have been possible without y’all. 🧡🩵

And to my friends Loni, Trina, Sherrell, and Kiara — thank you for showing up and supporting me today. I FELT THE LOVE! 🥹🫶🏾 Seeing familiar faces along the course and knowing y’all were there for me meant more than you know.

Never in a million years did I think I would become an avid runner out here chasing medals… yet here I am. 😂🏅 And apparently, I’m just getting started.

Now it’s time to celebrate, take it back to the house, and continue becoming a better version of myself — one mile, one challenge, and one finish line at a time. ✨

Around the Crown 2026, you were one for the books. 👑
Already looking forward to next year and everything that’s to come!

As a proud member of the Class of 2011, it means so much to be recognized by the University that played such an important role in my journey. I thank God, my family, mentors, team, and everyone who has supported me along the way.

This honor is a reminder that the work, sacrifices, and commitment to making an impact do not go unnoticed. The journey is far from over—we’re just getting started!

Forever grateful. Forever a Bulldog. ❤️💙
