One foot in front of the other 🏁

My first solo HYROX is officially in the books. Having only done doubles before, this was a completely different kind of challenge, both physically and mentally. This time, there was no partner to lean on and no one to pick up the slack. It was all on me. I had to tap into a different level of mental fortitude and keep moving forward.

After being signed up less than three weeks before race day, I had to trust the work I’d already put in and rely on the foundation I’d built. The epitome of “stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.” Naturally, I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform, but this experience reminded me that every race isn’t about chasing a perfect result. Sometimes, it’s about learning to trust yourself, running your own race, and finding out what you’re capable of even when the circumstances aren’t ideal.

When it’s all said and done, I’m forever grateful for my village. To everyone who checked in, showed love, and reminded me to keep going, whether physically or in spirit, THANK YOU. I honestly don’t know how I would’ve gotten through this without y’all. I’m excited to see what I can build from here. What started as a spontaneous decision turned into an experience that challenged me in ways I didn’t expect.

1:19:47 is the baseline, not the ceiling. It’s only up from here!

The weight of the grind is already heavy enough. So on the days you don’t have to go at it alone, you shouldn’t.

Big ups to #BIGFAMILY my good sis @allthingsv_fit ! Make sure y’all give her a follow for my fitness inspo!

HYROX PRO DOUBLES NYC ✅

Truly a blessing to compete in the world’s largest @hyroxamerica event alongside 50,000 athletes and to have raised money through @raceforimpact for women’s empowerment.

This was just as much a mental challenge as it was physical — a reminder that you don’t know your limits until you test them.

s/o my pain partner @lucyybarrettt we really put in the work to get here! And a huge thank you to everyone who supported and rooted for me throughout this journey🤍
