Officially a steepler!
“All glory to God who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think.” ~ Ephesians 3:20

If you were to tell me at the start of the outdoor track season that I would run three events at NSIC (3k steeple,1500,5k), place second in the steeple on day one, then on day 2 not only run the 1500 and run the 5k but be the conference champion in the 1500 and place 5th in the 5k….. I would have definitely not believed you.
Through the tough consistent training, ability to try something new and to most importantly just trust God, it all led to this! Everyday was no where near perfect but a challenge to take advantage of! From just learning how to jump over hurdles to competing at a high level in steeple has been a huge blessing! God really did have a big plan for my long legs! I am beyond excited to continue pushing myself more each day with this ability to run, from God and to go into this cross country season more ready then ever! Thank you God!

We have 15 former Kindred Vikings Track & Field athletes who are currently competing in Track & Field at the next level. That is AMAZING!!

Good luck to all of these athletes as they compete at their indoor conference meets and begin their outdoor seasons!
