For the very first time, Noodin had the special honour of wearing one of our beloved Otto’s very first sweaters, standing proudly beside Frida. It was beautiful and heartbreaking at the same time. We miss our beloved Otto more than words can say, and tears still fill our eyes when we picture all the adventures we shared. These sweaters hold so many precious memories, and we truly feel they wrap Noodin in Otto’s warmth, love and protection. His spirit will always watch over his little brother and Frida. Our beloved Otto will forever be part of every adventure in the Canadian Rocky Mountains.” ❤️🐾🌈🏔️❄️

Eine Woche Emilia! 🥰
Die Katzen machen das super! 🙌🏼

Frodo war von Anfang an mega interessiert. Queenie war es „egal“. Hope fand das kurz ungeheuerlich.
Princess hat direkt bei uns geschlafen. 🥰 Also unten an Emilias Füßen. Sie macht das echt gut und ich bin überrascht. Selbst bei Geschrei bleibt sie einfach liegen. 🤗

Ich habe aber auch nicht erwartet, dass es Probleme gibt. 🤭

Und Lina der kleine Zwerg 🐶 von gegenüber ist im positiven Sinne ausgerastet. Sie liebt Kinder so sehr. 🥹

Hi friends, It’s me Pemberley! I hope you’re all doing well! While Emma was extolling about her 20th autumn yesterday, I kindly reminded her it was my first autumn. And I have enjoyed chasing the leaves though I haven’t so much liked when I get conked on the head with an acorn! 🐿️

Most of you know I had surgery yesterday. Let me tell you I was loopy all day. I was wearing a cone so I wouldn’t lick my incision. Well I decided I’d have none of that. I houdinied my self straight out of it! Charlotte was right! It’s easy to trick those humans!

Anyhoo — yesterday I found out I’m almost as heavy as Big Boy. I weigh 17.8 pounds. And I am definitely longer and just as tall as him. So who is the king now?? Okay, I concede Mr. Bingley will always be the king!

Winter has arrived! 🌨️🥶
Noodin’s first winter adventures are about to begin! Tomorrow our little guy turns 6 months old, and he already weighs an impressive 4.5 kg! 😻💪 He’s growing stronger every day and will soon have all the muscles he needs to enjoy the long Canadian winter!
With his big sister Frida showing him the way, he’s getting ready for his first snowy adventures in the Rocky Mountains.
Mom is busy knitting some amazing new sweaters, but Noodin will also be wearing something very special… Otto’s sweaters. 🥹❤️
It’s a huge honour for our little guy to wear the same sweaters our beloved Otto wore on so many unforgettable adventures. We miss Otto terribly, but seeing Noodin follow in his footsteps means so much to us. ⭐️

Emma here — just thought I’d show you what I was up to after I left the vet today. Mom and I spent an hour and a half exploring the meadow and woods at Independence Oaks. Then we went to Cook’s Farm Dairy. I walked around the farm to say hello to the calves and their mommas. And can you believe this: a calf licked my face! The nerve! 🐮 Mom didn’t even have the courtesy to film this violation because her phone was dead! And maybe you don’t know this, but I was feral and someone found me and my fur mom and two tuxedo brothers in a barn!!!

Some journeys are more than an adventure. ❤️‍🩹
Today, Frida and Noodin followed a wild and difficult trail through forests, along rushing rivers, over rocks and through the mountains, all the way to the breathtaking Takakkaw Falls.
Years ago, Frida made this journey with her beloved brother Otto. Today, she returned with Noodin by her side.
Every step carried a memory. Every waterfall, every mountain, every sound of the wild reminded us of him.
This wasn’t just a hike.
It was a journey back to a place where Otto once left his paw prints. 🐾
For you, Otto. Forever with us. 🌈❤️

Jetzt ist der Bauch rund, die Tage gezählt, und das kleine Wunder fast bereit, Hallo zu sagen. Sie macht es spannend, morgen ist der ET. 🤭
Wir sind gespannt, wie die Katzen dann aufs Baby 🤱🏻 reagieren. 🤩

💔 Sadly, our Coco has received a diagnosis that completely broke our hearts.

During her annual check-up on Monday, our vet detected an unusual heart murmur in Coco. Of course, we were immediately very worried. 🥺

On Friday, Coco was therefore thoroughly examined by a heart specialist – and unfortunately, she was diagnosed with HCM (Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy). 💔

It’s such a shock when you suddenly have to face the reality that the heart of your beloved pet is not healthy. Coco is now receiving medication that should help reduce the thickening of the left ventricle and relieve some of the strain on her heart. ❤️‍🩹

But we’re trying to look ahead with hope. 🙏🏻
We found it very early, and that is exactly what gives us hope. We’re hoping with all our hearts that Coco responds well to the treatment and will be able to spend many, many more happy years with us. 🥹❤️

And we also want to make absolutely sure that Fluffy is okay. Our vet did not detect any unusual heart murmur in her, but she will also have a precautionary heart ultrasound soon. ❤️

For now, all we can do is hope, treat, monitor – and above all, cherish every single day we have together a little more. 🐾❤️

We love you so much, Coco. Keep fighting, our big girl. 🙏🏻❤️‍🩹🐾
