When we get too attached to our college kids that we forget that we have to eventually send them off. 🩵

Ally + Hattie — you two showed up this summer and somehow fit into our crew like you’d been here forever! You brought energy, laughs, hard work, and made our gym better simply by being part of it.

We’re sad to see you head back to school, but even more grateful that we got the chance to know you, coach you, and have you become part of the Precision family.

💪 Go do big things. Keep getting stronger. And know you’ll always have a place here when you come home.

And Abigail… we’re very thankful we get to keep you around a little longer. 😂

Row4Dough 2026 is a wrap! The chill from the rain felt really good, snacks were delicious, and I was blessed to be able to spend my birthday with some of my favorite people rowing 26.2 miles to raise money for Special Olympics of Illinois. I may be sore tomorrow, but today has been a good day!

God is good! 🙌 His Word was ALIVE today at Gym Church. We had assigned readings and questions for each group which they then shared with the group as a whole.
🪨 Our theme was ‘Build On The Rock’ from Matthew 7:24-25. It’s not a matter of IF the storm comes, it’s WHEN. God gives us the tools we need to weather any storm and getting close to Him in scripture is a great place to position ourselves.
.
Curious to know more about Gym Church? Join us for our next one, August 15th. It’s FREE and open to the public!

oh to second semester of my sophomore (junior year) i don’t even have words that can describe this semester. truly, it was such a unforgettable semester, and something i’ll cherish for the rest of my life. these people, this community, to everyone i know i love you and thank you for impacting my life. all the funny inside jokes, the drives to woodfield (paige), st. louis, michigan, Milwaukee, legit everywhere but being home. pandaw, and everything we have done, qt drives, blasting random music, almost dying at every red light, prayer before each drive we had, something i truly miss but will never forget. God truly gave me the community and friendships I was looking for this semester, whether that was in hiking (or getting lost), being a big back, pickleball, granny or even murder mystery nights, or the best of all baking challenges, i can’t even fathom to say how many memories i have, of illinois state my home away from home truly. every game night, or random movie night we had i will always wish for it back, and yes you guys are always invited over for a nerf gun fight. the drives to michigan, probably some of the best 8ish hours in a car, the joy of the Lord was in that car for sure there and back and that group is something i’ll never forget or everyone i met there. choir i love you, and couldn’t imagine anything different. to all the different ministry stuff i did this semester from superstart, to small kids min things i loved every second to what God is calling me to do. and my girl getting baptized will always be a highlight of my semester. i love you city museum (my knees will always feel pain, the michigan group, pandaw, my roomates, annie herrman, and my co lead!!, waffle squad, and everyone else!)
see ya soon isu 🤍
