Winning gold in Washington! 😎

Julia Alexander-Crew captured her 10th individual gold medal of her collegiate career on Tuesday!

She shot a two-under-par 142 including an impressive bogey-free five-under-par second round to place first at the Western Washington Invitiational in Bellingham.

The Heat placed second in the tournament, finishing one stroke ahead of the Cal State LA Golden Eagles and four strokes behind the SFU Red Leafs.

DOUBLE SILVER! 👏

Join us in congratulating our men’s and women’s golf teams for both finishing second at the 2026 Canada West Golf Championships!

The Heat women’s team finished 16 strokes ahead of the third-place Victoria Vikes, while the men’s side also placed above the Vikes, ending four strokes in front.

This marks the fourth straight year that both teams have medalled at this event.

Spent the afternoon working with @kylierustongolf getting her all prepped and ready to head off to play for @utamavswgolf as she continues her college golf journey this fall.

One of Kylie‘s main issues was that her trail leg seemed to never be able to slow down, so what we did is we added a little bit of pressure feeling for her to stabilize her trail side, which allowed the club to get down out in front of her and her low point became a lot more consistent. Utilizing a glove under her lead armpit we also tackled her rotation and reduced casting due to poor mechanics. 👍🙏

She worked her tail off today and I’m so excited to see her take us down to the state of Texas and enjoy the next two years. Wish you the best of luck and just remember. #BetterNeverStops #hehaschosenyou #fggacademy #bestofluck
