We like to say, “At iBeach, it’s always 70 and sunny.” Yes, partially because of our year-round indoor and outdoor courts. But that’s only part of the story. 70 and sunny is not just a weather forecast, it’s a state of mind, and one that takes a team with a shared vision to bring it to life.

Exceptional customer service, friendly staff, clean and safe facilities, efficient leagues, knowledgeable coaches. None of this happens on its own. But what you may not see is the team behind the scenes making it all work.

From our beach desk staff to league directors, juniors coaches to maintenance crews, we truly believe the iBeach team is the best in the biz. Don’t you agree?!

To recognize and celebrate our incredible team, we took a little fieldtrip up the road to our friends at @skylakeadventures for an end of summer send-off for our team members who are heading off to college for the school year. Complete with team awards and custom snack buckets, the team flew, jumped, fell, slipped and slided for hours, and of course wrapped it up with a heated match of water volleyball. What a night!

To our amazing team, THANK YOU for the best summer season ever! We couldn’t do what we do without YOU, your hard work, and dedication to iBeach and our mission to grow the game of beach volleyball. That’s a wrap for the summer, but we’ll see you right back here for Fall leagues starting next week!

SCHOOL’S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!! (*except at iBeach, where class is in session)

If you’ve ever looked at league registration on ibeachvolleyball.com and seen “cali doubles” or been hanging at the beach and overheard players talking about “reverse” and thought to yourself, “What in the world kind of game is that?! And should I be playing it?!!” YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

While beach volleyball is an extremely welcoming environment that supports players of all levels and backgrounds, beach volleyball is also full of unique lingo. And the same lingo that contributes to its close-knit community (if you speak it), can sometimes feel a bit intimidating for those who don’t.

We get it. If you’re going to take the risk to put yourself out there with a new sport or new format, you probably need to know what that actually is! So let’s start there, at the beginning, with the basics of the formats you’ll find at iBeach.

At iBeach, it’s not only our daily focus to program and support superior beach volleyball at every level of the game, it’s our broader mission to actually grow the game of beach volleyball.

We’re here to break down barriers to the game, and we encourage all of our players, parents, friends, and family who come to play or watch — ask questions! Things at the beach can move pretty fast, which is exactly why it’s important every now and then to take a beat, slow it down, and get the info you need to fall in love with the game of beach volleyball the way we have!

See a format you’re interested in or ready to try? Sign up today with a team or as a free agent! And if you’re still not sure, find Katie, Becca, or one of our coaches or beach managers and get the 411 you need! We can’t wait to see you at the beach!

Find our available leagues registering NOW at ibeachvolleyball.com or via link in bio.
