2022. This was my first headline show as a fully self-managed artist. I was over a year alcohol-free and had just started releasing one song a week long before I knew I’d become a world record holder. My running journey was starting to get serious and I’d just signed up for my first marathon set to take place only a few months after this show. I’d recently let go of my previous team on good terms and felt freer than ever. I was booking my own interviews, handling my own finances, and making every decision myself (which had always been the dream). I completely sold out my slot at the showcase in this photo. The version of me that used to be scared, unfulfilled, and addicted to substances no longer existed. I went for a 10KM run right before the show which became a tradition in the years that followed. My parents came and watched me perform. It was the first time they’d ever seen me on stage completely sober which was a huge milestone in my journey. This moment marked the beginning of true freedom and abundance.

My wife-to-be, I used to be skeptical about the idea of soulmates until I met you back in 2017. The moment I laid eyes on you I knew you were the one for me. There will never be a day in this life where I won’t remind you how deeply I love you and how much you mean to me. You are my everything. This November I get to stand before you and read you my vows as we begin our journey as husband and wife. In our hearts we’ve been married for a looong time but we finally get to make it official.
