Saying goodbye to the game, community, and family that raised me will never seem real. It has given me my people, taken my family across the country, and taught me so many lessons. I will forever be grateful for this journey and every high and low it brought. Thank you softball.

To my mom, thank you for using the sport to teach me life lessons. Thank you for never missing. Thank you for showing up and cheering louder than anyone no matter what. Thank you for letting Drake be a part of every step of this journey. I could never say thank you enough.

To my dad, thank you for being the best coach I have ever had. On and off the field. Thank you for making me the best I could possibly be, even when I didn’t make it easy. Thank you for taking me to the field whenever I asked, and spending that time with me. Thank you for being the best coach and biggest fan all in one.
