✨ MEET ALLYSON! ✨

📍 Smith Mountain Lake, VA 🐟⛰️
🎓 Junior | Psychology Major
💛 Delight Position: Delight Director

Why Delight? 💕
“I have found my confidence in my identity as a daughter of God, and I really want the other girls on this campus to find their security and confidence in Him, too. I also want girls to realize there is SO much fun in Christian community!” ✨

🌟 Outside of Delight:
Allyson is involved in The Awakening, Impact, Singers, and ResLife on campus!

🥳 Looking forward to:
Getting to know the girls on campus better and walking alongside each other through both struggles and victories! She’s also super excited for all the events we have in the works this year! ✨💛

🎀 Hobbies:
🌊 Swimming — especially because she LOVES the ocean!
🎶 Playing & listening to music — she dabbles with a few instruments and loves to dance! 💃
🤪 Side-quests — she’s always down for an adventure!

✨ Fun Fact:
Allyson was a competitive dancer for 15 years and has even competed against the girls from Dance Moms! 💃🏆

We’re SO excited to have Allyson serving as our Delight Director and can’t wait to see how God works through her this year! 💛✨

Summer internship 2026🇺🇸🇩🇴🇨🇷🇵🇾🇦🇷

This summer was full of God
You could see Him in everything,
In the eyes of His people,
In the laughter and the trees,
Even in the ground beneath our feet

This summer was full of God
The enemy attacked our health, but the power of Rapha is stronger
The enemy attacked our unity, but the power of Yahweh is stronger,
The enemy attacked our security in our very own creator. But the power of Nissi is stronger.

This summer was full of God
The lives He touched in each church,
The lives He touched in each country,
Each life He touched in this internship
Showed,
this summer was full of God.

John 15:16 NIV
[16] You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit—fruit that will last—and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.

God has truly blessed me in giving me the opportunity to strengthen friendships and work with such amazing people this past week. He has given me such a wonderful community that is both extremely talented and devoted to Him.

I've said it time and time again, but I genuinely love and appreciate every member of my crew. You guys have grown so much over this past week and I'm so proud of each of you. Thank you for being my friends, camera operators, computer graphics operator, front of house mixer, lighting tech, and producer/boss. You all have beautiful skill sets that God has given you and I can't wait to see what He does through you in the future!! Youth Quest wouldn't have been the same without each and every one of you. I'd better see all of you at YQ27!!

a summer in Latin America 🤍🧉⚽️☀️

It broke any expectations I could have had. The more I spend time with God the more I realize I cannot grasp the awe, the greatness, or the entirety of God. His power covers all things and His grace proves more than sufficient again and again. I'm thankful for the opportunity to learn how to lead in His name and grow in ways I didn't even realize I needed.

This summer has been different than anything I've ever done and all I have is so much gratitude! I'm so thankful that the Lord has designed this life of mine. It is one I never could have imagined and one I could never do without God! Thank you Jesus for more people to love, more places to pray for, and more direction on your will over my life!!

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. Psalms‬ ‭18‬:‭28‬ ‭NIV

Thank you to all that supported me and prayed for me! I'm behind grateful for you and love you so!! Thank you for joining me on this journey!!
