A few thoughts on why I love winter.

Filming surf in the UK winter is a battle at times - seemingly never ending rain and wind (this December at least) combined with ever shortening days and frigid conditions - type 2 fun sometimes for sure.

But that’s kind of part of the magic of it all - it makes the reward so so much sweeter when we get the golden hour of pumping conditions that make the frozen toes, nose and fingers oh so worth it.
