Creative Resistance — A War Cry for Radical Art

In the spirit of el Taller Grafico Popular, Emory Douglas, Yolanda Lopez and the many other artists who agitated and inspired radical change — this is a call for art that fights. Art that disrupts fascism, giving voice to those who refuse to be afraid.

Whereas others fear, artists imagine. This is why art is so dangerous to authoritarian power — in one stroke it can unmake a lie that took generations to build, breaking the hold of fear and defeatism.

The attacks on Mexicans, Central Americans and American Indians are not new. They are more than 500 years old. These times demand one thing from us: find each other, defend each other, and fight.

The future is not given. It is paid for with generations of sacrifices. It is fought for, inch by inch, across lifetimes. In this way, art is the machete that clears the path for the next generation.

Be the machete. For the future is won with radical imagination.

It’s either NOW or NEVER.. Trump himself stated: “The fact that they had a boat land there 500 years ago does not mean they own the land.”

They always say: you don’t make treaties with so called, “conquered” nations — treaties by law are not to be broken.. and the U.S. govt has a LONG history of breaking treaties..

Repost from: @almadillo_art

ICE detained five Native Americans.

They are citizens.
They are Indigenous.

Everyone else in America is the result of immigration.
They are the exception.

And still, they were taken.

It happened before.
It’s happening now.

Today to start the new year my new ep has been released on all streaming platforms.
It’s a selection of 8 tracks which makes you explore the underground caves of the Swiss alps. “This release is born from the vision of an underground world hidden beneath Alpine peaks, ruled by tireless dwarves working with a near-demonic drive toward an unknown goal. Its dark, heavy soundscapes evoke a descent into the depths, awakening shadowy thoughts and inviting the listener to explore this mysterious realm. A composition that guides you through an immersive journey filled with brooding atmospheres and fantastical undertones”
