SAVE THE DATE! Tuesday September 1st - Bob Warnicke Scholarship race at Freedom Park BMX 📚🎓✏️

It’s back to school time! What better way to celebrate the start of a new school year than supporting the USA BMX Foundation’s Scholarship Fund?!

On Tuesday September 1st we’ll be hosting our 2026 Bob Warnicke Scholarship race. All entry fees from racing that night will be donated to this Scholarship fund via the USA BMX Foundation. All racers will earn certificate awards for participating in this race.

The Warnicke Memorial Scholarship Fund supports USA BMX student athletes to meet the costs of undergraduate, trade school, or other educational avenues students wish to pursue. This scholarship has been awarded to several Freedom Park locals, including TO Hannah, USA BMX Coach Leyna,
Levi Huvard, and Maddie DeSantis.

See you at the track!

One of the OG Sports Med Club members; Leyna has continued to excel throughout the years and is always willing to give back to her Yellowjacket roots and we love her for that 🫡❤️

What an amazing time at the 2024 Grands. I was
able to spend time with the people I love and have
the best time with. There are no excuses here. Im
truly honored and have respect for each one of my
competitors. The competition was tough, and 1 look
forward to another year of racing with everyone. I am
proud of all my friends for how far they have come
and to see them enjoy the same sport I love.

Thank you Scott and Teri Angus for managing an
incredible group of riders.

Thank you, @mike.flynn52 for making this the best
grands . You make this team feel like family. I look
forward to another year with this amazing team.

I also want to thank @almstfms805 for all her help
and advice. Having you genuinely care for me was
something I am truly grateful for.

Your newest undergraduate @almstfms805 with a B.S. in Exercise Science; Human Performance & Minor in Spanish. Through all the BMX travels/racing a concussion(causing her to take time off) & Pandemic she still finished the first part of her task!!! #4kids4degrees
