Today marks the end of my journey with @al_jazira_fc

After this time together, I can only say thank you for the incredible support and the way I have been welcomed and treated by everyone at Al Jazira FC and CityFootballGroup.

First of all, I would like to thank everyone who has been part of this journey: the coaches, analysts, operations staff, medical team, and, of course, my colleagues in the performance department. It has been a pleasure to work alongside all of you and to share so many experiences throughout the year.

Secondly, a special thank you to the players for allowing me to contribute my small part to your long-term pathway. You are the true protagonists of this story, and being able to support you and witness your evolution since I arrived has been a real source of pride.

When I arrived, there was a great opportunity to further develop the strength and conditioning side of the club. Together with my colleagues, I hope we have been able to build a stronger methodological structure and bring a fresh approach to the way we work in this area.

One of the things I am most proud of is seeing more and more players take ownership of their own development, investing in themselves and recognising the importance of consistently working on their physical performance. Seeing that growth in mindset, responsibility and commitment has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey here.

I leave the club and the UAE with a lot of nostalgia, but also with excitement and a few nerves about what is to come. It has been a year full of growth, learning and invaluable experiences alongside great professionals and mentors such as Paul, James, Stephan, Francesc, Antonio and Artun. I am certain that everything I have learned here will stay with me and help me in the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.

Thank you for everything. It has been a privilege to be part of this family and this journey.

A big hug, and see you soon. 🇦🇪❤️🤍 #alwaysjazrawi
