Projective Cities’ installation at the AA Projects Review 2026 is ‘A Glossary of Welfare Architecture’. It includes a Rolodex with 48 pairings of terms and concepts. The hand-crafted device stands in front of a shuffling visual catalogue of representations and counter-representations of the spaces the terms and concepts embody.
The visitors are challenged to make associations and simultaneously navigate through conceptual frictions.

Meet the Design(er): Alon Steinmetz and his Distort!

DISTORT
Our movement is influenced by the sounds that we hear around us. We are dancing according to the music that we hear. Music has always developed by challenging the mainstream, trying to take us towards new experiences, emotionally and physically. DISTORT attempts to create sound from movement.
