17 - braid
i’m now realizing that a twist may not be considered a braid, but it’s too late! here is a gruyere sesame twist from @alonsbakery. i have childhood memories of alon’s since it was on my way home from elementary school. my mom would let me pick out a cup of soup to get each week or two, and one of the staff called me the soup girl!

If cooking Thanksgiving dinner isn’t on your agenda this year, Atlanta has some great options!

From complete Thanksgiving dinners to individual sides, desserts and smoked turkeys, these are a few local favorites worth keeping on your radar.

Not all of the 2026 menus have been released yet, but I wanted to share these early so you can start planning!

As for us, we’ll be doing a little cooking (or David will — I’m more in charge of the pretty table and entertaining 😉) and filling in with a few favorites from these spots.
