A few moments from a night I’ll never forget. 🙏🏾

I shared my gratitude in my last post, but I also want to make sure I recognize some of the people who helped bring this night together.

🏛️ The Garden Theater — thank you for giving us the perfect space to celebrate.

Some moments mean more because of where they happen.

Walking into the event center wasn’t just another event—it was a full-circle moment. The space gave me the opportunity to pour into the next generation.

First and foremost, I thank God. None of this is possible without Him, and I’ll never stop giving Him the glory.

Thank you to the principal, administration, teachers, parents, guardians, and the entire Class of 2026 for allowing me to be part of such a special day. This was my first commencement speech, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t nervous. But once I started speaking, I realized my story isn’t just mine anymore—it’s meant to be shared.

I hope every graduate walked away believing that where you start doesn’t determine where you’re going. Keep working. Keep believing. Keep showing up.

Thank you. I’ll never take this opportunity for granted.

My first year as a Head Varsity Coach was definitely an experience… lol one that’s hard to fully put into words. There were so many people telling you what you should be doing, what you’re not doing, and at the same time reminding you that you’re doing a great job. This season stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, but it also helped build me back up. I had to learn a new level of discernment and, most importantly, learn to give myself grace.

More than anything, I’m so proud of this team. Watching them grow not only as basketball players but as individuals has meant everything. That last game alone was proof—these girls played their hearts out, and as a coach that’s all you can ever ask for.

I’m extremely PROUD to be their coach. The future is bright, and we’ll be back next year stronger. 🏀💪
