Engagement HAS to start with leaders.

Charles from Alpha Youth Canada has seen TWELVE be used in amazing ways in that ministry - but he says it all started with the leaders. When leaders initiate - youth get on board.

What tips have you found to help engage your students?

Alpha Launch Week! ❓

What a meaningful week as we kicked off Fall Alpha and celebrated what God is doing through Alpha across Canada!

Last Wednesday, we welcomed 30+ guests to explore faith, ask questions, and discover Jesus! We're so grateful for all our volunteers who made the evening possible, and a special shoutout to the Westsiders who faithfully pray for us every Wednesday!

On Saturday, Alpha Canada hosted Grow Alpha, bringing churches from across Montreal and Quebec together to learn how Alpha can help shape the culture of our churches. We were also grateful to have Esther Lysakovsky join us during Sunday's gathering to share what's happening with Alpha across Canada.

Here's a glimpse of what God is doing through Alpha in 2025:

🌎 7,191 Alpha courses
🗣️ 59 languages
🙌 3,188 Youth Alpha courses
❤️ 170,426 guests exploring faith

And so much more!

Westside, you're part of this impact! We're excited for all that God has in store this season.

Thank you to everyone who makes Alpha possible. Let's keep praying for our guests, leaders, and volunteers as we create space for people to encounter Jesus!

What a beautiful picture of the Church in our city this morning! ❤️

More than 70 leaders from around 25 churches gathered for Grow Alpha Montreal
Catholics and Protestants,
French and English,
men and women,
young and old,
coming together around a shared desire to help more people explore faith.

It was so encouraging to learn together, share experiences, and think about how we can continue to grow in the way we lead Alpha and create welcoming spaces for people to ask questions and explore faith.

Grateful for @alphacanadaorg and for every leader and church investing in the flourishing of our city.

We can do so much more together than we ever could apart. And even more than that, together is at the very heart of God. Jesus prayed in John 17 that we would be one, so that the world would know Him.

This morning felt like a beautiful glimpse of that prayer being lived out, one Church, across traditions, languages and backgrounds, coming together for the sake of our city. 🙏
