ACL injury mechanism in action.

Unfortunately for Lucas Hernandez this means he has missed the chance to play at this years world cup.

We are sure he has already begun the lengthy journey back to football which will take several months of rehabilitation and therapy.

A real shame for any athlete and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Little snapshot of a session this morning.

Client preparing for a fitness test at work and recebtly developed some shin pain.

Initial assessmenr identified suspected MTSS (Shin splints).

Today was a final follow up before the test...

We even got to use the Footscan as part of the assessment. This gave us more in depth data to compound or findings and base our advise off.

Client is now pain free and ready for action 🤩

Where popping back online for a quick appreciation post then we will resume our 1 week Socials blackout 😆

How could we not when we had lots of amazing clients taking part in some awesome events this weekend.

London Marathon and Loch Ness Marathon naming just two.

With over 22 active clients taking part in these two events alone this weekend its only right we show our appreciation.

The training, dedication and sacrifice for these events is unbelievable. We are so lucky we get to see the journey first hand.

Huge congratulations to all of our clients who took part this weekend. We cannot wait to hear thr stories and see the medals.

😊

Close! 20s off 🤪🤪🤪

As its London Marathon week we decided to set clinic director Marcus a challenge...

Can you explain our return to running % protocol in under 2 minutes?

It was a close call but he failed 😆😆

This is a protocol we developed here at Paeon to help runners return to sport post injury.

Hope you enjoy the video. Have a good Marathon week 😊😊😊😊

Race over and done with - results are in! 9th! Can’t be happier, such a vast improvement!

Amber loved coming to watch! Even wearing her little @orangebikes jersey!

Recovery was very important today, with the help and advice from @alpharunninglichfield, I was able to use the Pulse Roll to aid my recovery!

Looking forward to the next race in Feb 2023!

So for Tina’s birthday we didn’t have a romantic meal, we didn’t go for a night on the tiles - we climbed Mount Snowdon

It was also great training for next weeks race

After my amazing visit to @alpharunninglichfield I ended up wearing the Brooks Cascadia 16 it’s my first climb/hike not wearing boots, I was pleasantly surprised that I actually preferred it, as my ankle was able to move freely meaning I was more agile

We managed to summit in 2:12:37 hours via the Llanberis path
