☕🌹 A PROUD MOM MOMENT — AND A MINISTRY WORTH SHARING! 🌹☕
This weekend, I had the privilege of tagging along with my daughter Sarah and the team at Lane of Roses for two coffee cart events! One was for Alpha, and the other was for a local church celebrating the people who faithfully serve their church family. ❤️
As a mom, it was such a blessing to see Sarah doing something that reaches far beyond serving a cup of coffee.
Lane of Roses is about so much more than coffee. ☕ It’s about meeting people where they are, building relationships, sharing the love of Jesus, and helping connect people with affordable Christian counseling in Kentucky. Sometimes, a cup of coffee and a genuine conversation can open the door to something much bigger. 🌹
But here’s something I want people to understand: this is a donation-based ministry!
Sarah and the other team members raise the support needed to fund their own salaries so they can continue showing up in their communities and serving others. That means they cannot do this work without the generosity and support of people like YOU.
Supporting this ministry helps make it possible for them to keep going where the Lord leads them, one conversation, one cup of coffee, and one connection at a time.
I’m so proud of Sarah for being part of something that lives out the love of Jesus in such a practical way. ❤️ It reminded me that ministry doesn’t always happen inside the walls of a church. Sometimes, it happens over a cup of coffee, through a listening ear, or by helping someone find the support they need.
If you would like to learn more about Lane of Roses, support this ministry, or help Sarah continue the work she is doing, please reach out or check out Lane of Roses! Every bit of support makes a difference.
“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18 🌹

@alphausa has meant so much to me personally and to my relationship with @brian.rocket_ . 🤍

With everything I carry as a mom, at work, and in everyday life, it’s easy to keep moving without making space for my own faith. Alpha has given me that space. That space to pause, ask questions, grow closer to God, and remember that I don’t have to carry everything on my own.

Sharing this experience with Brian has been especially meaningful. We’re learning to have deeper conversations, listen with more patience, and be intentional about the foundation we’re building together. Making room for God in our relationship has given us another way to connect and grow.

We’re still learning and there’s still work to do. But I’m grateful for the opportunity to grow in faith individually and alongside someone I love.

Thank you, God, for meeting us where we are and helping us take the next step. 🙏🏼🤍

What if people are more open to conversations about faith than we think?

I was privileged to participate in a great conversation about evangelism in NYC alongside a priest, a church planter, and NYC’s Alpha Director.

Different contexts, same observation: people are hungry for deeper conversations about life, meaning, and faith.

Maybe the opportunity to share the gospel is right in front of us. We just need the courage to start the conversation.

If you’re between the ages of 18-26, you’re invited to the College Conference where we will worship, learn, connect, and wait on the spirit together with students from around the region.

Bridgetown Young Adults is partnering with voices from BibleProject, Barnabas Collective, Alpha, and more to equip students to live from a place of both practice and presence: passion for the presence of Jesus, and practicing the rhythms of Jesus’ life to be formed into his image.
