At a first glance the mermaid and the wolf don’t seem connected at all, the wolf living in the wooded forest and the mermaid typically in water or near the shoreline. Yet both are ancient creatures of wild, untamed instinct. Each govern their worlds with haunting beauty, intense mystery and fierce life force. She came to the wolf. The vulnerability of a mermaid without water, in dense vegetation, on land…what did she find in her seeking?

The hunting lobby has money, political connections and shared interests that keep its allies together. That carries weight when decisions about wolves’ lives are made.

Wolf defenders have different platforms, but our campaigns need to reach beyond our own followers. Share another group’s action alert. Put their campaign in front of your audience. When public comments are needed, help get people involved.

New voices bring an audience, information and the drive to get things done. A solid campaign deserves to be shared, whether it comes from an established organization or a small page just getting started. Follower counts shouldn’t decide who gets backup.

We don’t have to agree on everything to show up for each other. More than ever, we need to work together to keep wolves alive.

United with a wolf pack 🐺

My mom used to tell me - STAY AWAY of stray dogs 🐕 it’s dangerous they have rabies etc. so this time I visited

📍 @alphawolflodge in Bali

🙋🏽‍♀️Why are their not in the wild?

This sanctuary rescued the wolves from countries like Russia & Canada where there are still getting hunted same as 🇩🇪 did you know?

Germany makes wolf hunting legal again since 2026
after wolves return back to Germany after 150 years they will not be protected in Germany in the future..

🌱
Wildlife is part of our life - we cannot erase it for our own safety, for bigger cars, for higher buildings, for more materialistic things.

🙏🏽
When a wolf pack in Bali can get domesticated and friendly towards humans then why shouldn’t it work in Germany with the wolves that come back?

Growing up with my Indian heritage, I was always compared to Mowgli from “The Jungle book” and now, I finally got the chance to play Mowgli in real life! Walking alongside these incredible creatures at @alphawolflodge in Bali was amazing to me!
Big shoutout to Mark for the extraordinary work he’s doing to protect, care for, and conserve these wolves in the sanctuary. Giving these magnificent animals a safe haven is pure magic! 🐺✨
