Thank you to everyone who was there and made this night what it was. Thank you to @salondesamateurs and @alphie_renn — for a premiere that took place exactly where visual art and electronic music stop being separate things. And thank you to @borgborg___ @hidonash @_cozycosmo for a night that carried that thought further.

A circle closing. Or perhaps just beginning to open.

“The Island” is out today, exclusively on USB stick, available via Bandcamp.

Welcome to About Repetition — @alphie_renn

Alphie_Renn is a media artist based in Düsseldorf. Her practice operates at the intersection of video, sound and text — a collage-based investigation into appropriation, displacement and the ways meaning reorganises itself under shifting medial conditions.
„The Island“ premieres at Salon des Amateurs, Düsseldorf — a work that gets under your skin and stays there. Come and see it.

Our fifth stay and exchange in Georgia began in Kutaisi, followed by a road trip to Tbilisi, a long dinner with local friends, and a visit to TES’ successor, Meteor Studio. Friday saw Tasime Da Hidonash take over the main floor at Khidi Club alongside Ancient Methods, 00rt B2B Nitsa and Downwell, while Felix Lindner opened G2 alongside Body Pressure and Cillian.
Saturday continued with the About Repetition Showcase, featuring Ozip_420 b2b Hidonash, Anodized and Hugo Dirac.
Sunday evening then closed at Mutant Radio, where the pace slowed down — with red wine, chacha, and a different musical side of everyone involved, shared in exchange with the local scene.
After a few days of recovery in and outside the city, most headed back, while Felix Lindner played his final set at Ambavi Bar.

Special thanks to @__tasime__ for the outstanding organization, @00rt / Khidi for the continued trust in our work, and @mutantradiotbilisi for the warm welcome and the opportunity to shape this night beyond regular hours.

Last but not least many thanks to our friends around for the good times❤️

#ORANGETHEWORLD

for the 4th time in a row now, we are showing the charity exhibition #ORANGETHEWORLD. We are participating in the UN campaign, which runs from November 25 to December 10, the Human Rights Day.

We started in 2020 on the initiative of Bernd C. Dietrich - now we are delighted that all our gallery artists are taking part in the exhibition. Some of the works on display were created especially for this occasion, for example a whole series by Bernd C. Dietrich. The gallery and the artists donate 15% of the proceeds from the sale of selected works. In particular, we support the emergency fund of frauenberatungsstelle düsseldorf e.V.

EINLADUNG IN DIE @galeriekellermann
