Can't believe it's been 11 years since we made our first adoption from @wonkypets thanks to Tracy. Pearl and Dudley were so incredibly precious with their disabilities, and they paved the way for us to adopt many more special needs dogs, including Betty Biscuits, Nancy and Milo the British bulldogs, Fyodor and Margot the Frenchies, and Pooh-Bear and Joey the pugs and Leo my mum Susan Bell pug; alongside other unique dogs along the way. Each soul has touched the hearts of so many but I know just how many friends Pearl and Dudley had, they were the best dogs I could ever ask for and it almost killed me losing them. They changed my life, as did Tracy by giving me the privilege of adopting such beautiful doggo's. Every dog deserves a chance for their happy ever after, here's to many more joining our family in the future. 💖💖

Hi fwends! A lot has changed in recent weeks! For those of you who don't know already, just under 4 weeks ago we welcomed into our family a new @wonkypets rescue to the pack. Everyone meet Betty Biscuits who's nearly 3yrs old! After losing Nancy and Milo our British bulldogs last year and Percy this year, we realised how empty our lives were without the dopey clown behaviour that bulldogs fill your home with. We were very lucky to be contacted about adopting Betty and after a little bit of figuring out the logistics of the pack, she has now settled in so well and loves a play! She's quite dinky for a bulldog but that doesn't stop just how springy she is, launching from one piece of furniture to another is definitely part of her favourite antics! 🤣

Percy Per Te 05/11/11- 16/5/24 🌈😇💔😭

After losing my nan and having her funeral this week my heart is shattered into even more pieces as my beautiful boy Percy Per Te, my best friend, the one who got my mobility back when I was paralyzed because he needed walkies, the boy who gave me the courage to leave the house again after being house bound, the boy who helped me through every trial health wise, through university, house moves, training and priesthood has devastatingly passed away in his sleep yesterday morning.
Everyone says you get one soul dog and I know he was mine. If he wasn't so perfect I wouldn't have had all the dogs I have now. He was the reason we've welcomed numerous dogs into our home for life but also for holidays, he's the reason Herefordshire Pug, Bulldog and Boston Terrier Dog Club was set up 11 years ago and why we've made so many friends, he's the reason I know so many of you simply through social media interactions and relationships.

He himself survived getting ran over by a range rover when he was 2 (escaping with just bruising on his abdomen), prostate and bladder enlargement causing weeks of being catheterised several times a day, actually dying and having to be revived when leaving the vets, pug myelopathy and losing the ability of his back legs at 8, a ruptured eye after intense treatment for a melting eye ulcer and having to have it removed at 11yrs of age, and putting up with and loving me unconditionally. He was never just a dog to me, he never will be. My life will never be the same. Go find Nan for me Percy and keep her company. And all the other doggies, Jerry, Dudley, Pearl,Nancy and Milo. They'll all be ready for you to be the master in charge once more 💔😭😭😭😭💔

Hi fwends! Patrick here! It's been 4 weeks since my eye removal as a result of a clumsy accident by myself causing a eye prolapse for me. We are so thankful to our lovely vet Louise who not only has saved Percy's life in the past but did my surgery too! I think we can all agree it's healing great and it hasn't changed my bonkers personality at all, I'm still as hyper and clumsy as ever. Mummy tells me I'm still super handsome so I think I deserve extra treats, don't you think? 😁

Hi fwends! Well it's certainly been a tough lead up to Christmas, mummy is unwell and poor Patrick had a severe prolapse with his eye in the early hours of Wednesday. He was rushed to the emergency vets where he had to go for surgery and have his eye removed as he had already torn his optic nerve. Thankfully he's pulled through the operation ok and now the long healing process begins!

Hi fwends! Please welcome our new member of the family, beautiful little Melody 😍 Melody joined our crew a couple of days before Milo our British Bulldog passed away. We were contacted by @bubblebeccapugs about a family who needed to re-home their Frenchie due to her becoming disabled about 2 months ago and their family circumstances changing, meaning they could no longer make sure Melody was getting the best care she needed. We are no stranger to disabled dogs as you know so when the family contacted us directly we were more than happy to give Melody a new home with us, where she can fit in with the wonky pack. She'll be 4 later this month and is still very playful and active despite not being able to use her back legs, we have started physio with her and the next step is to get her some wheels like Percy, Pearl and Dudley because she's raring to go! The independence wheels give to disabled dogs is like no other so we've set up a gofund me page to help us give her the freedom to run around that she needs and deserves.
