These visuals are of freeride athletes @hannahbergemann and @veroniquesandler. Filmed by the venerable @jeremy_grant_ . Annually we locally produce films for international film crews in the greater ranges of Earth. These visuals are from the Himalaya segment of the @tetongravity film Accomplice, an inspiring film about freeride mountain biking across the globe. @himalaya_alpine_guides encourages you to reach out for your film production needs, from site locations to full board logistics. Also, check out our new MTB, gravel and cycle touring programs after the new year. See you in the hills. 🫡#Himalayas #Pakistan #Nepal #India #MTB

Edit your life ruthlessly. Bío Bío. Sierra Velluda is a stratovolcano in the Pacific Ring of Fire that stirs the mind no matter what direction you view it from. The Pacific Ring of Fire (Circum-Pacific Belt) is a 40,000-kilometer (25,000-mile) horseshoe-shaped tectonic zone stretching around the basin of the Pacific Ocean, with more than four hundred and fifty volcanoes. @alpine__south #Chile #biobio #cordilleradelosandes

7000m. Aconcagua, Himlung, Putha Hiunchuli, Peak Lenin, Mustagh Ata and Spantik are our 2027 seven thousand meter objectives. We have fully supported climbers joining for guided climbs, alpinists joining for base camp support only, and also skiers joining.
•
Correct, Aconcagua is 40m lower than 7000m, yet is great prep for 8000m and is in the right season and location for many.

✅ - IFMGA guides
✅ - flash style for those keen for it (the lower-case concept of a “flash expedition” or “flash climb” has entered the general mountaineering lexicon to describe ultra-fast, rapid-ascent climbs utilizing home hypoxic pre-acclimatization). this means less time away from work and family.
✅ - who is the local agent that is organizing? we are now the local agent and the western organizer, which means we can provide the price that suits your budget
✅ - 1:1 sherpa:climber ratio (for those keen for this type of climb)
✅ - bc support only if desired
✅ - western leader
✅ - high quality logistics and service
✅ - dates flexible (climbers can arrive when they prefer)
✅ - decades of experience at 7000 meters. contact us to chat about your goals.
✅ - reasonably costed

Zooming out. Back in July the sky rioted with stars, the viscachas covered their ground and I knew that I was getting closer to my goal of bringing together global alpine pastoral cultures to trade best practices. Skiing and climbing is a vehicle for anthropology and biology for me, and it will always remain so. @alpine__south #pastoral #Peru #alpinism #language

Dome ⛺️ life. On all of our skiing and climbing expeditions in the Karakoram, Himalaya, Tian Shan, Pamirs, Hindu Kush and Andes mountain ranges we utilize dome tents as the center of life in base camps. A place to relax and recharge, have nice meals, and pass weather days in between skiing and climbing days. This particular image is from the May 2026 Karakoram Ski Exploratory, an expedition we’re sharing this week on this feed, captured by the venerable Swiss 🇨🇭 lensman @martinbissig. We have exploratory skiing and climbing expeditions all over Earth for 2027, including Antarctica, Central Asia, the Andes and Himalaya. You can check those out at our respective websites: @himalaya_alpine_guides (Himalaya & Karakoram) | @alpine__south (Andes & Antarctica | @alpine__central (Pamir & Tian Shan). Check back early and often for updates, and if you want to join the newsletter, just let us know that by typing “mountain” in the comments. ⚡️🐺🙏🏼 | 🎥:@martinbissig
