Spent my birthday checking off another incredible National Park from the list. Mt. Rainier NPS… w/ @ashleyspontelli @mountrainiernps

And if you’re wondering, no, I didn’t have to ask Ashley to do this. She willingly enjoys the rush of jumping into alpine lakes even when it’s 38 degrees and the sun is still coming up. She told me the water was warmer than the air… did a repeat on the dive too

We enjoyed the diversity of landscapes inside Rainier… from gatorade blue water rushing through canyons, with perfectly perched bridges, to the way the moss hangs from the trees and catches its own golden light.

So lush and green… something that’s missing back home in Colorado ☹️ The weather challenged us for the first few days, but we persevered. Clear skies, sunshine, and some of the most beautiful hiking days came through right at the end of our adventure in Rainier.

Golden hour…

Sometimes it’s good to have a few slow, laid back days. Sitting in the cabin, watching the rain fall, listening to the fire crackle, tucked somewhere beautiful in the Cascades. Thanks for checking out a few of our memories from this recent adventure… more coming soon… @foxglovehollowairbnb
