Evelyn says it’s so fun being one!! 🥳🧁⭐️

What a fun day celebrating our sweet girl’s first birthday! Evelyn’s first year was such a rollercoaster but God’s goodness and provision is so prevalent through every mountain and every valley. This birthday party was such a sweet picture of the love of our friends and family towards our Evie girl. Here’s to year 2!!

One Year of Marriage!

And oh what a year it’s been. Bailey, one year ago, we stood before God and vowed to walk this life together— not in our own strength, but in His. Through every mountain and valley of this year, I’ve seen His faithfulness in you and through you. It has been such a blessing to have you by my side through all of the highs and lows.

This year has also shown me the importance of the covenant nature of marriage and what a gift it is to live out this covenant, learning daily what it means to love as Christ loves. He’s taught me that marriage isn’t about perfection, but about perseverance and grace. The covenant we made isn’t about ease, but endurance. I thank God for every trial that’s strengthened us and every joy that’s reminded me why I vowed to be your wife. I can’t wait to see what the Lord’s plans are for us in this lifetime. I love you Bailey Barfoot!
