Plymouth became so much more than a viral case and a few weeks of courtroom coverage. Somewhere along the way, thousands of strangers looked at who I am TODAY—my heart, my faith, my passion for truth, my fire for independent reporting—and said, “Hell yeah, we believe in her.” Strangers became friends. Supporters became donors. People who owed me absolutely nothing helped fund this dream simply because they believed in the mission and wanted to see me win.

And I don’t think they realize what they’ve given me beyond that. By seeing me for who I am now—not who I was, not who someone else decided I was, but the woman I’ve fought to become, the soul I’ve spent years nurturing—they’ve reached places in me they never knew were wounded.

Every message. Every prayer. Every donation. Every “keep going.” People who began as strangers are helping heal pieces of me they never broke.

And then there are the people watching quietly. The ones who see every win but struggle to celebrate it. The ones who offer just enough support for it to look genuine, while something underneath feels different. I don’t need to figure out whether it’s resentment, discomfort, or something else anymore. It has become fuel. The more resistance I feel, the harder I run.

And maybe one of the biggest lessons in all of this has been learning to stop staring at the empty chairs, wondering why certain people never showed up the way I hoped they would. Because when I finally looked around, those chairs weren’t empty anymore. They had been filled by an army of people I never expected to find. People who chose me. Believed in me. Prayed for me. Invested in me. And reminded me that sometimes God sends the people you need from places you never thought to look.

So watch. Doubt. Cheer loudly, quietly, or not at all. I’m still running. And now I know without a shadow of a doubt that there is a community behind me saying, “Keep going. We’ve got you.”

This was never just about one case or one trial. It was about discovering what sets my soul on fire.

Plymouth wasn’t the end. I think it was the beginning, and I cannot wait to see where we go next.
