As I sit here to write this week’s Motivational Monday, I am truly amazed at how using the four ingredients from my book (The Recipe for Real Happiness) LOVE, GRATITUDE, MINDFULNESS and LEARNING has made the incredible experience of planning my daughter’s wedding (which was on Saturday evening) so much easier, richer and more meaningful.
Try to use these ingredients in your life—Love, Gratitude, Mindfulness and Learning—and be amazed at how much more meaningful life can be!

To learn ways of incorporating my four ingredients into your life, check out my book through the link in my bio!

The other day I called my daughter Alex with a wedding question and caught her at a moment while she was focused on work (she creates beautiful websites). She said, “Okay mom, hang on a sec, I need to take off my work hat and put on my wedding hat.”

The concept of wearing many hats is not new.
This week think about changing hats when you change activities—whether it’s for a few moments (like my chat with Alex) or for a longer period of time while you’re cleaning your house, taking care of kids, or spending time with your significant other. We all wear so many hats. . . shift gears, stay focused and think about which hat you need to wear!

I used to paint a lot. I stopped a couple years ago because my doctor told me touching the toxic paints and breathing in the turpentine fumes wasn’t the best for my health or fertility 😢🎨.

Instead, I resorted to filling my free time with other hobbies🧑🏻‍🍳. Recently, I discovered an iPad design app on Tik Tok called @procreate. I am blown away and so grateful to be able to “paint” again.

I have been into paper cut designs recently. Love the 3D effect. After watching a quick @YouTube tutorial by @bcolbow I was able to design my own 🥰! So excited to continue learning how to use @procreate to deliver personalized designs for my amazing clients ✨🙌🏼!
