i did 52 paintings in the year of 2024 and the Angie album cover was #51, the salmon was #52. i’ve never been more proud of anything i’ve made before and i’m so thankful claire asked me to help on her album in such a big way. i listened to it on loop while painting and it absolutely fueled me. i’ll forever be so grateful for her trust ily king

TONIGHT!

pehrspace celebrates Coaxial’s 10 anniversary with big sounds (and small sounds made big) inside human resource’s chambers.

2070 is a four-piece rock band based in Los Angeles. The band tours and play shows regularly around the city, have released two full length albums and two EPs. 2070 has gained a reputation for their pummeling live shows that generally consist of using and controlling feedback, creating unique transitions and many songs played quickly at high volume, and performing in different fashions depending on the atmosphere of the location. 2070’s music scales across different genres, and each member has a passion for the visual arts, interplaying with their performances, music videos, and songwriting.

pehrspace celebrates Coaxial’s 10 anniversary with big sounds (and small sounds made big) inside human resource’s chambers.

Danketsu 7 and LAWWS will improvise together for the first time with their contrasting methods but like-minded approaches.

Danketsu 7 (sometimes 8-10) has always revolved around the ideas of unity, inclusion, and equality. All of their performances are improvisational but are sometimes guided by thoughtful prompts or scores.

LAWWSS is a quantum entity; at any given moment there are between zero to an infinite number of LAWWSS members. the true quantity of LAWWSS members crystallizes only when their performance is observed. LAWWSS is a non-hierarchical, Los Angeles-based woodwind instrument skill sharing collective. LAWWSS is pure improvisation. LAWWSS members do not know what the music will be until they start playing. the only way to know LAWWSS is to experience LAWWSS.

Mesh is a Los Angeles-based electroacoustic quintet. The energy within the group is open and non-structured, thriving on free improvisation and sonic exploration. Mesh lives in an electro-acoustic world. The music often lands in ambient textures but is definitely prone to noisy outbursts and has a wide dynamic range.
