A significant part of my research for my show “Are We The Aliens_” that is currently running during the @venice.art.biennale has involved a deep dive into the world of meteorites and impactites. For this research, I have received tremendous support from the great Jochen Lëen and his entire team. One of the key concepts of the show is based on the Murchison meteorite.
Dated at 7.2 billion years old, it predates our solar system by about 2.6 billion years. Remarkably, Murchison contains a variety of complex amino acids, the building blocks of life. @jochenleen @hervemikaeloff #shaibaitel #reineropoku @altavagroup @nasa_eyeson_asteroids With a special thanks to @creutz_partners ☄️ @koeniggalerie @therealswizzz

With “SIX Testimonials,” I introduce the narratives of six distinct fully digital AI-created characters in a video installation on the ground level of the Scoletta, in conjunction with my Impact Glass installation, seamlessly integrating into the universe of “Are We The Aliens_.” This digital installation showcases 6 personal AI testimonials that offer a glimpse into pivotal moments in each character’s storyline, where they come to the realization that their current life simulations are severely constrained by a growing disconnect from the harmonious natural world that has long inhabited Earth, posing the question: Are We The Aliens?
‘SIX Testimonials’ emerges as a testament to the evolution of Alien DNA. Unlike its tactile counterpart ‘Impact Glass’, this installation transcends physical boundaries, manifesting as a mesmerizing projection video piece. Crafted in collaboration with the Korean digital lab Altava & ACDC, our digital artists at Arne Quinze created an immersive experience to showcase the typical alienating and dystopian characteristics of current AI video creation.
