#thealteredtarot @alteredtarot #thelongwayhomeoracle @pneumastudio.bysachita You did the natural thing... grew up and moved on, but now you're exposed. We need to get through this storm before the weather blows it all to pieces. Then we can light the fire and talk about what comes next.

A spark becomes a vision. A vision becomes a path. A path becomes a life. We call it victory, but often it is simply the courage to spread our wings before we know we can fly.

Believing in that spark or should I say ourselves is challenging at the best of times. We are beautiful creatures after all. 🫶🩵✨

"I've been tested inside and out. The recognition I'm calling in is for the one who didn't break."

Thanks @mercurytarot for conjuring up the challenge for October.

What energy is available to me this season?

October's energy for me: the Six of Wands. 🔥
It's been a season of inner and outer challenges, and I'm still here, intuition switched on like a full Spidey-sense. "You will not break me" has become a quiet mantra.
This month I'm calling in acknowledgement, not for ego, but because I've sure earned a moment of the wreath. My creativity is leading the way for sure, and it cannot be ignored.

Six of Wands

Nothing borrowed. Nothing new.
Just inner spells brewing, confidence blue.
The dark half will come, and still I'll rise,
a small light landing, seen by the skies.

Sometimes we've just gotta manifest shit. Write it down on a piece of paper and set it alight. Well that's what a good friend told me. 🫶

The night you stepped into the void,

I was lost — a little frayed, a little annoyed.

A heartbeat yearning, slowly destroyed,

falling into the dark.

Then you looked at me —an over‑gleam,

a face I’d never seen watching me unravel.

Make it rain,

Make it rain,

Let it all fall away.

Rays break down on a restless face,

zero gravity pulling me into space.

It’s quiet out here — a place I’ve never been.

Now your heat finds me,

radiant, clean,

a soft ignition

in the cold between worlds.

Well-being is important. Sometimes we trigger ourselves, sometimes it's from external sources.

So where are we today?

I'd love everyone to try this , and tag me when it's done. This is how recognise, relate and respond.

Card Pull— Hyperarousal edge: What tips you into fight/flight/anxious overdrive right now?

I pulled the eight of swords. So I know I overthink, and perhaps I send myself spiralling.

Poem ⬇️⬇️⬇️

Trapped, slapped and all self propelled.
I try to maintain my fragile shell.
Energy out , Energy in.
Be prepared as the strain can get thin. ©

A card pull can often stir all sorts of things. That's when Tarot and Poetry gets interesting.

The Chariot was the card pulled.

Emotions flow,
emotions crowd the spaces in-between—
the spaces we left behind,
alone and deserted.

Then the tracks of tears
carve a journey,
even though we're not prepared.

Embracing them
will create boundaries.

Inside my inner volcano,
the kindling remembers the burn.
Passion destroyed, then reclaimed.

Why should these cycles define me?
Why should my battle cry vanish
into the wind? Something stirs.
A pulse.
A warning.

My sombre heart is burning again —
not in ruin,
but in reclamation.
